After rescuing Erik from last night, the man in black (as [Y/N] decides to call him) leads them to a facality, the CIA apparently made a mutant division just for the already four existing mutants. [Y/N] has doubts about Erik, although Charles is willing to trust him. [Y/N] already said to Charles that he might not think twice in betraying them but his brother thinks otherwise. They are now walking to a hangar where a huge jet is placed. [Y/N] looked in awe and hoping that they will use it for missions or something. A scrawny guy wearing glasses and a white lab coat welcomes them. The guy then explained the mechanics of the jet to the group. [Y/N] was half listening while he is stealing glances from Erik to see if he is up to no good. Erik caught him once but he looked away hoping he did not see him looking at him.
"It's a supersonic, most advanced plane ever built. You should see it in real life. It's incredible." The guy said excitedly.
"Hank, these are the special new recruits I was telling you about." The man excitedly pointed towards the group. "This is Hank McCoy, one of our talented researchers." He introduces Hank which earned smiles from the group, but Erik keeps a poker face.
"How wonderful. Another mutant already." Charles walked forward shaking his hands. Raven and [Y/N] looked curiously at the teen in glasses. "Why didn't you say?" Charles asked but Hank seemed nervous and seemed to want to deny Charles' statement.
"Say what?" The man in black asks in confusion.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so terribly sorry." Hank apologized. "Hank?"
"You didn't asked so I didn't tell.""So your mutation is what? You're super smart?" Raven gleefully asks Hank.
"I'll say, Hank here graduated Harvard in age of 15."
"Amazing." [Y/N] said in awe.
"I wish that all it was." He said looking down.
"You're among friends now Hank, you can show off." Charles encouraged the younger male. He slowly regained his posture and bent down to take off his shoes and socks. The rest of the gang curious about his mutation.
When he took them off it revealed his feet that looked like hands, he was expecting them to be disgusted by it but he was utterly surprise by the scoffs of amazement and smiles from the group.
Before Charles could speak he leaped flipping his body mid air and hanging from one of the jet's wing with his hand-like feet. Which gained a quiet woah from [Y/N] and even Erik is impressed.
Raven walked up to him and levelled with his face that's hanging upside down.
"You're amazing." She breathed out.
"Really?" Hank asked in disbelief.
After the little meeting with Hank, the group decided to dispurse and explore the facility more, it is quite huge. Charles was talking with the man in black, while Raven and Hank are discussing something about Hank's experiment, [Y/N] decides to wander off.
He notices quiet footsteps behind him, and when he turned around he saw Erik but he does want his appearance to be acknowledge by [Y/N]. "What's with the looks?" Erik smugly asks, grinning.
"Before you feed your ego, I was actually observing you." [Y/N] answered sternly. "Yeah? What are you observing exactly?" The older man asks keeping his grin.
"Look, I know you've got Charles convinced that you can be a team player but I know you can't." He said a little too harshly but it doesn't seem to break through Erik who seemed rather amused by [Y/N] comments.
"So what's you mutation." Erik asked out of the blue catching [Y/N] off guard. "Can you move things with your mind?" The man continued to ask.
[Y/N] breathed out. "Only when I there is sound that I can hear." That answer peaked Erik's interest and his facial expression sent a message for [Y/N] to keep going. "I absorb the sound and I can convert it to energy, I can move things but I could also blow up stuff." Erik seemed impressed.
"Can you show it?" He asked.
"Oh no, bad idea. How about you? Charles said you tried to stop a moving submarine and you that you threw an anchor to a yacht." [Y/N] hastily said changing the subject. "I can move anything as long as they are metal or have something metallic in them." He nodded for an answer. "So your a living magnet?" Erik smiled at him and nodded in agreement. [Y/N] managed to brush Erik off and continued to explore the whole place.

Later that night when [Y/N] is wandering throughout the building he heard footsteps from the nearby corridor, he took a peak seeing Erik skeptically enter a file room. 'I knew it' he thought.
As Erik exits the room he sees [Y/N] leaning towards the wall cooly and expected him to rat him out.
"I knew you were up to no good." He said smugly.
"Ah the sound absorber, you feel good stalking me?" Erik smirked at him which caught him offguard.
To regain his composture he let out a laugh, "Ok, I am not stalking you. I just heard suspicious footsteps and I came to see it."
Erik seemed to believe him. "So, are you here to stop me?" He asked calmly.
"Hardly. I believe you're a hard headed type, and I have no patience for those. Just happy that I proved a point." [Y/N] smiled coyly.
"Your point?" The german asked raising his eyebrows to him.
"That you are a baddy and you tend to solo your way out of this mission." He said pointing to the briefcase he is holding.
They stared each other for a while, until [Y/N] managed to break their little staring contest.
"Anyway, I am so tired and I want a good night sleep. Just.. good luck with whatever you're up to." [Y/N] said waving him off and turning his back to Erik and leaving him confused and dumbfounded by the younger male's actions. Unlike his brother, [Y/N] was not patient with anyone(except for his siblings), especially those who are too hard headed to listen. And for that one day he knew Erik, he just saw him as one of the most hard headed bastards there is and he doesn't want to get involve with him convincing Erik to stay when he decides to revolt against them. So he lets him go easily.
As [Y/N] quietly walks through the metal hallways to his new room the facility gave to him he heard a voice in his head.
'He's leaving isn't he?' Charles said to [Y/N] using his telepathic powers to communicate with him from afar.
'Were you listening the whole time?' He asked to his brother.
'I just had the feeling.' He replies.
'Well, your feeling is right, he wants to go solo finding Shaw, you gonna stop him?'
'Yes... I'm gonna show him that there is a better path.' [Y/N] scoffed at his brother's determination for a stranger, although he admires him deep down for his belief in hope and good in everyone. He wished he had those traits.
'Yeah, sounds like you. Goodluck, hope your 'persuasive' skills work on Mr. Drama queen.' Charles laughed through his head and he smiled.
Before walking to his room though he decides to check up on Raven. Her room is just next to his. He knocked through the metal door and right after it slide open. Revealing his sister in her natural blue form. Her yellow eyes glistening.
"Hey, just thought I'll check up on you." He said quietly.
"Oh? Last time I checked I was the big sister." Raven joked earning a small laugh from [Y/N].
"How are you liking it here?"
"It's ok and people are nice enough." She replied hastily.
"You mean Hank?" [Y/N] saw his sister shift uncomfortably and he laughed at her.
"Don't worry sis. I think he is nice, a bit nerdy and seems clumsy but nice." Raven laughed at him this time.
"I'm just making friends, so that I will have other friends beside you and Mr. Old fart." [Y/N] laughed at the nickname knowing how painfully true that is. "Yeah, ok. Welp, better get some sleep big day tomorrow." Raven nodded and the door slide close and [Y/N] heads to his own room.
He layed on his bed and pulled his tuning fork from his pocket. He held it up and looked at it after a few moments he let it rest on a bedside table and he let his conciousness drift off and he fell asleep.
