Its been 2 whole weeks after the agreement I had with that useless guard dog Darwin

And 14 fucking days of avoiding Matthew's confused that had turned into blank looks whenever we pass each other but never again did he try to greet me after attempting 4 times that I just answered with a simple nod of acknowledgement and 1 word answers

And I've been very moody most of the time which made the now fully recovered Lance as he made fun of tease me about being miserable because of avoiding and being avoided by Matthew

"What?" I scowled at Timothy as he kept tugging on my hair from beside me as we are now seated on the history class that I have with this imbecile

"I asked if its a good time to ask Maureen for a date later this night? Or should I schedule it on a weekend?" He asked ignoring my rude tone probably used to it by now with his nonchalant stare

"Why don't you ask her?" My voice came out nassally dismissing how weird my voice is I sniffed roughly and lean my forehead on the palm of my hand as I write notes

"Then it won't be a surprise—" his black pen fell loudly on the tiled floor and he leaned down to get it his cheek pressing againts my exposed arm due to my long sleeves rolled up to my elbows and my dark green sweater uselessly hanging from my shoulders

"Holy shit!" He screamed suddenly waking my senses as I became alert on my sorroundings with my other hand now gripping the gun on my thigh holster still covered by the black skirt I decided to wear and my other arm moving across his shoulders to duck him down as I also noticed the agents who accompanied us inside the classroom put their hand inside their suits while the other going to the radio intercom they wore

"What is it Mr. Anderson?" The middle aged teacher Mr. Brent's voice boomed with narrowed eyes in question and caution

Smart old man

"Zaia you're burning up" he stated meeting my incredelous look before relaxing my tense shoulders

I sighed exasperatedly "Don't do that—"

"Excuse me sir but I'll but I'll accompany my sick cousin to the hospital...if I may?" He asked politely standing up as he gathered his book bag and things handing it to agent Soren who walked up to us

"Alright" the middle aged teacher sighed pinching the space between his eyebrows in annoyance as he waved his hand at us in a shooing motion "you may go"

Not wasting time I was being dragged by Timothy out of the classroom leaving my things on my desk looking back I saw agent Chris fix my things and carefully put it on my book bag too before following us out

"Wait— I thought you just made an excuse from being embarassed?" I asked stumbling behind his long strides due to my slightly numb legs and sore body as we are now out of the building and walking towards the path to the hospital

"That, and you're truly burning up Zai" he looked at me worriedly as I tried hard to keep up with him and curse myself from being like this "why didn't you tell about having a fever?"

I frowned before giving him a flat look "I'm perfectly fine Anderson—"

He halted halting me in result looking up to him I raised an eyebrow and open my mouth to say something smart but he suddenly push me by the forehead with his palm making me stumble backwards but thankfully two agents took hold of my shoulders as my eyes became droopy

"Sure you we're fine" he return my scowl with a roll of his eyes before reaching from around me to untangle my sweater and wrapping it around my shoulders properly quite loosely "and you're bad ass all black outfit isn't helping your situation on a fall season"
