The next day

Maris pov

I woke up seeing Damian hugging my waist. I'm happy that we are finally in each other's arms. He has changed a little. He's starting to open up to others besides me and I'm glad. I stared at his face seeking in all the detail. How handsome he is both inside and out. I don't know how I am able to have some like him. I'm nothing compared to other people. He deserves someone better than me. While I was thinking I didn't know I had tears steaming down my face
"Beloved,what's wrong? Why are you crying? Do I need to kill someone?"
I sat up and turned my head away from him. I wiped my tears.
"No Beloved. It's just........how was I able to catch someone like you. I don't think I'm good enough for you but when I think of you with someone else my heart clenched and I started to cry" Damian sat up and wrapped one arm around my waist while the other had grabbed my chin to face him
"Beloved your enough. The reasons I fell in love with you was
A)because your beautiful inside and out
B) because of how you never saw me as a al ghul or a wayne but as just Damian
C) was because we were technically forced to be betrothed but we were already together before it happened so it just helped the situation more
And D) because you always had faith in what I can do even when I doubted myself or when I feel helpless. Your always there to cheer my up.
And the reason for how you started crying while imaging me with someone else was to show how much you truly love me but know I would never break up or cheat on you with someone else. Your all I want and need in someone" I looked at him speechless and then I started to cry again but this time it's happy tears
"Beloved thank you. Your all I can ask for in a man. You never cease to amaze me with how your able to comfort me" he then started to kiss my tears away
"Right back at you" he kiss my lips. I don't know how long it lasted because it seemed like forever until wally rushed through the door without knocking. He looked surprised on what we were doing. Saying sorry about him coming in without knocking or telling us he was coming in. He left but not before telling us that breakfast is ready.

I got dressed with the extra clothes I had in my bag (outfit above) and left my hair down while Damian was wearing a simple red checkered flannel with a plain back shirt and denim ripped jeans. I didn't know how we did it but we somehow manage to match, weird right like it was planned.

Well after we both got ready we made out way to the living room and seeing pretty much everyone there besides a few. Guess the are waiting for everyone to get here so we can all eat together. A few minutes later everyone was now sitting down in the dining room. We digged in soon after.

Well after we ate we decided to go to the mall. While we were there I saw everyone look to see Damian and I walking and holding hands. We all split up into pairs so Damian and I went to an ice cream shop. The worker asked what flavors we liked. We said mint chocolate chip, blueberry and raspberry favor. When he was done making it he said it was on the house because today was a day where couples can get free ice scream. Awesome right
Well after we were out of the shop we went find to our gang. We saw them at the food court. We sat and ate our ice cream. I loved it. I never knew how this can me so good but not as good as   André's ones but close enough. After we did a little shopping we head back to mount justice to get our things and head back to the manor. Today was fun. I got to hang out with friends real friends.
Soon it was night time we already ate dinner so Damian or Robin and I went for patrol while the rest paired up to also patrol around Gotham. Not much happened besides a few burglaries. We went home soon after dad or Batman called us saying were done for today.

When we went back home I left for the showers. I got back wearing one of damians shirts and one of my sleep shorts. Damian soon after went to take a shower coming back with only wearing his underwear and sweatpants. He has toned and grew taller.
"Like what you see"
"Of course. Not the first time though"
"Your wearing one of my shirts again. Thats the shirt I was trying to look for"
"*chuckes* we now you found it"
"Well we should head to bed. We would be going to the titans tower tomorrow"
"Yay I get to see you train with someone beside the people here"
"Well I haven't went against you and your team yet"
"You'll know tomorrow then"
"So it's the miraculous vs teen titans. We that would be fun and challenging"
"Well we should head to bed now then if we want to wake up early"
"Ok ok. Well good night Malaki(my angel)"
"Goodnight baladay alshaytan(my devil), ahbik(I love you)"
"Wa'ana ahbuk 'aydaan (love you too)"
Soon after I slowly drifted off into sleep while being embraced by my one and only demon
