"I want to marry my other half... one day," I said absently while crossing my arms over my chest. I looked over to the sea calm scenery in front of me and inhaled some fresh air which made me relax a bit despite my mind being disturbed by so many things. I parked my car here on the seaside after driving around with my big sister, Irene Bae. "Of course, lil sis. Me too... I want to marry my boyfriend and spend the rest of my life with him." Irene replied and smiled happily without looking at me. Irene and I hung out today. We choose to be relaxed while driving around aimlessly. It's like one of our siblings' bonding time and routine now. It helps us to open and rest our minds even just for a while. Trying to treat our tired hearts by bringing us away from our busy lives. That's the most important one.

I'm sitting on my car's hood slightly. Irene actively captured the beautiful scenery in front of us with her camera. Then suddenly she pointed her camera lens direction toward me. Slowly she puts down her camera to look at me properly. She looked at me weirdly. "Why do you look so sad, lil sis?" I looked in her direction. I smiled at her before replying to her, "Nothing. I'm just... worried about something." She approached me after grabbing the drinks inside the car that she bought before both of us came here. She handed it to me. "Who? Which one makes you feel like this?" I looked down at my drink without opening it. I kept my mouth shut but I knew that I needed to let it out. "I love Lisa..." my sister looked at me while smiling teasingly. "Okay?" Irene smirked. But I ignored the look on her face. I'm sighing softly. "I love her... so much. I can see my future with her. I trust her. I know that I don't want to let her go. I want her. I want to tie the knot with her. I want to grow old with her. I want to have a child with her. I want to protect her... Damn, I'm in love with her." I confessed while smiling unconsciously.

I remembered the way Lisa smiled at me, the sounds of her laughing, her giggling. Her warmth. Her way of showing me her love, her care, her understanding. Her eyes and attention always made me think that it was only for me. She is almost perfect. I don't want to let her go. "I thought she's only your close friend?" I looked up at my sister. "That's what I told myself too. But... before I realized it... I love her... more than just a friend." Irene nodded knowingly. "Then what makes you seem can't be honest with yourself?" I let out a sigh. "My heart beats for her... but my mind... Jennie is still disturbing my mind, especially on the night." Irene grabbed my right shoulder and massaged it lightly. "Follow your heart, I guess? Whatever you think makes you happy, Y/n. You know... everything in your life, it's your choice. So, think wisely, and think further about the future. Sometimes in life, you should take a risk to feel alive." I laughed a bit before putting my hand on top of Irene's hand on my shoulder. "Thank you. I appreciate that advice, sis." then I went to her front and pulled her into a hug. I hugged her tightly. "Thank you," I whispered again. Irene patted my back gently, only humming in response.

[At Y/n's company]

If Y/n thinks that I'm going to give up, she's wrong. She's the one that's going to marry me, not Han. So, I'm standing here, in front of her company building with a flower bouquet in my hand. I know that I can court her and make her want, to love me again. I'm sniffing the flowers while smiling excitedly. I can't wait to meet her. I was on my way to approach her secretary's desk when suddenly I saw Y/n getting out of her office. Looks like she has to go somewhere. "Y/n!" she turned around. She looked at her wristwatch and then at me. "What are you doing here?" Y/n asked softly whilst approaching me then immediately landed her eyes on the bouquet in my hand. "For you," I said, handing the flowers to her. I'm smiling cutely at her. She scanned around for a moment before she wrapped her arm around my shoulder lightly, bringing me to the elevator. She didn't even take the flowers, I thought while pouting sadly.

The elevator's door was opened then Y/n guided me inside it. "I don't like flowers," she muttered without looking at me, slowly pulling away her arm that was around me a moment ago. Pressed the elevator button to which floor she headed. I stared at her side profile. She doesn't like flowers? But she always admired pretty flowers, even when she went to the library to study. She was always looking for a book that is related to flowers. "What do you mean? Since when you-" She took a glance at me and then looked away. Cleared her throat softly and proceeded to put her hands inside her pocket before saying, "Don't ask. I just don't like it anymore." she said under her breath softly, making me tighten my grip around the flowers. I won't give up. "So, what do you like now?" I linked my left arm around hers. She just let me do it. "Lisa," she whispered. I furrowed my eyebrows. My arm dropped down from her cause of what I just heard.

Lisa? Lisa? Does she like Lisa? I want to ask her again but then the elevator door opened, and Y/n was the first one to get out of it. I looked at her way, and I tightened my fists. Don't cry. Don't. I forced a smile to change my mood a bit then jogged lightly to match her steps. "Y/n... Y/n, please look at me." she did. She stopped and looked at me, but her eyes. She showed nothing. I can't read her at all. It was like she didn't have any feelings for me anymore. "Can I take you out tonight?" I pleaded a little to her. I moved my eyes to Y/n's eyes right to left like I was searching for something in the mirror of her soul, her eyes that never lie. "I don't know if I can..." she replied. After a moment her phone is ringing, Y/n took a glance at her phone. Then she looked at me. "Don't waste your time on me, Jen. Han... Han is a good guy for you." she said while clenching her teeth making her jaw tighten. But strangely, she didn't look mad at all. She began to walk away but I grabbed her arm. I held my gaze on her while frowning a bit. "I want you, not that motherfucker. Why you don't understand it?" she touched my hand on her arm gently. "I understand... I get it... but what can I do about it?" she furrowed her eyebrows. For a second time, her phone rang again. "I have to go, Jen. Take care, okay?" no. I won't give up. I won't let her go. "Where are you going?" she turned to me again and then sighed. "My mom needs me," she replied. I linked my arm to hers again and brought myself closer to her. "Bring me too. I want to meet your mom." she shook her head. "But-" I glared at her and frowned. "Now I can't meet your mom too?" she looked at her phone and then at me. "Let's go." I smiled happily and nodded to her.

{Lisa}

Well, this is awkward. I took a glance at Jennie who sat across from me. Then to Y/n who sat beside me. Why is she here? And Y/n looked so strangely calm in this situation. After Y/n took her mom from the hospital cause today was her mom's appointment again, she met me here with them like always having lunch with her mom. It's our daily routine now. "So, you're Jennie Kim, my dear?" I heard Y/n's mom ask Jennie. "Yes, I am, ma'am. The one and only Jennie Kim." Jennie replied cheerfully. Then they continued to have their conversation and Y/n's mom began to tell a story about how she misses me and Y/n sometimes. Also saying about how she loves me for Y/n. It's like Y/n's mom made a declaration about wanting me as her daughter-in-law which made me giggle shyly. Jennie throwing her deathly glared at me sometimes but what can she do about it, right? It wasn't me that hurt Y/n until she was afraid to be in a relationship with someone. It was her that made Y/n doesn't believe in her so-called love anymore. She was the one that made Y/n change to be that kind of person and to be honest, I hate her for that. Suddenly I felt a hand patted on my thigh gently.

"You okay?" Y/n leaned towards my ear and whispered. I just nodded and smiled assuredly at her after she leaned back. She stared at me for a moment making me look away. I can feel that I'm blushing hard cause of that. "Don't worry," she whispered and winked at me. For some reason, it made me happy, and felt like she was mine already. It made me forget about Jennie's presence who may already be thinking about a few ways of how to get rid of me in her mind. Ah... Y/n Bae. You made me crazy about you, huh? Well, I guess this situation wasn't so bad then since Y/n's mom did make Jennie acknowledge what's my position in Y/n's life and the way Y/n treated me, and looked at me like I was hers. So, I took this scenario as a situation where it happens for a reason.
