Chapter 17 Jealousy Attacks

~Natsu's POV~

It has been 2 days since Akumi's Funeral. And this is the 2nd day that (Y/N)'s still not going to the guild, which made me really sad. I guess she still needed some time alone, of course. Well, right now im with Lucy and Happy, we are currently waiting for our drink that we ordered from Mirajane.

'Uggghhh.... I wanna see (Y/N) right now!' I thought to myself, I sighed and slumped my head onto the table.

~Lucy's POV~

Natsu released a deep sigh and slumped his head onto the table. I was shocked because Natsu wasn't acting like himself at all. I mean, he's usually loud, cheerful, and always happy...is it because (Y/N)'s not here? Oh great, her again. I know she's my guild mate and I should respect her but what can I do? When Jealousy attacks, its hard to fight back..specially when im already losing.

But its not fair at all, i've been here for about a year now, and (Y/N)'s been here for like, 5 months. I have experienced way more adventures and things with Natsu, but why do I feel like..im out of place.

"Geez. Natsu cheer up!" Happy said as he set foot on the table patting Natsu's back. "There's no use being a piece of gloomy pink ball there" Gray said as he say down beside me. {GrayLu moment XD..peace, please continue}

Natsu just released a deep grunt. He would have challenged Gray in a fight by now, if he was his usual self. I took a deep breath and asked him, "why are you sad anyway?"..."Oh my god Lucy, isn't it obvious. Natsu misssseessss (Y/N)" Happy teased. Natsu abruptly brought his face up and grabbed Happy from his tail and covered Happy's mouth. If I wasn't mistaken, Natsu's face had a little tint of pink paint on his face.

'I knew it' I thought to myself. I stood up, my bangs covering my eyes. "Im gonna head home, im not feeling so well" I said. The 3 of them just nodded and I swiftly ran out of the guild. "Damn it" i murmured to myself as I close the guild doors. And after that, I continued to walk to my house.

~Natsu's POV~

Hmm..Lucy's acting weird, but nah. She's always weird..... okkk, that did not sound so good. Sigh.

"Here's your drinks Natsu and Lu-..oh..where's Lucy?" Mirajane asked. "She said she wasn't feeling good and decided to head home" Gray said. Well, got no time for caring about that. I slump my head back onto the table and sighed a deep sigh again. I just said a low "thanks" to Mira as she placed down my drink.

~Time Skip~
~Lucy's POV~

I woke up and saw that the sun was already setting. I stared at my ceiling and thought about the times Natsu and I spent together. I smiled to myself. But there is one thing that he said that I couldn't get out of my mind.

"We're friends after all!" A flash of Natsu came to my mind saying that. I placed my right hand to my eyes to cover them. "So that's how its gonna be....just friends" I told my self. As tears started to drip from my eyes.

I just couldn't think of anything else except for Natsu's care and love, but it doesn't belong to me...at all

'I crave a love so deep that the ocean will be jealous'
