Chapter 20 Someone From The Past

~YOUR POV~

"(Y/N)!!!" I hear a group of people yell. My eyes widen as I am pierced by three shadow blades. My vision starts to fade. 'I shouldn't be blacking out because of this...unless' I look down and see that the blades are indeed one of those from an S class demon. I see something or someone at the entrance before I black out.

~Third Person's POV~

At first Gajeel, Wendy, and Natsu just stood around (Y/N) staring at her in shock. The rest of the guild was getting in a fighting position while recovering from the shock. The intruder wasn't attacking, so the guild members waited. They expected Natsu to start the fight, but when some of them looked back to see why he hasn't started charging at the attacker...they see him with wide eyes looking at (Y/N). Same for Wendy and Gajeel.

The three of them are frozen in their spots. For some mysterious reason, they feel like they failed something. They don't want to move away from (Y/N), but then a voice enters their minds. More like a group of voices, and they can hear the sound of their dragons in them.

"Help her now. You must help her." Wendy immediately starts to heal (Y/N)'s wounds. She was sure that "her" was (Y/N).

"Protect her. You must protect her." Gajeel quickly turns around and gets in a fighting stance. He also thinks this "her" is (Y/N).

"Help her. Always protect her. Save her. You are the only one who can save her." Natsu's eyes have flames in them as he lets out a roar. He turns around, faces the intruder, and gets into a fighting stance.

Only now does the figure move...towards the previously said dragon slayers. It is wearing a shadowy black cloak to hide its face. It also seems that it is trying to get to (Y/N), but Gajeel, Wendy, and Natsu won't allow that.

~Third Person's POV~

As the mysterious attacker charged towards the 3 Dragon Slayers with an abnormal agility, the 3 Slayers readied theirselves for attacking. But when the attacker was just inches close to them, it disappeared instantly along with the dark blades stabbed onto (Y/N)'s torso, leaving the whole guild of Fairy Tail..shocked.

"W-What..just h-happened?" Lucy managed to spit out, stuttering. Finally, they snapped out of it and Erza was the next one to speak, "(Y/N)!" Erza exclaimed as she ran to her comrade's unconscious body with blood coming out of the wounds seen from the slightly ripped dress. "What is this?" Wendy asked no one in particular, with widen eyes.

"Very strange...magic" she continued. "Not just magic" Gajeel said, his eyes are looking around the room. "...dark magic" Natsu murmured. "(Y/N)!..what's happening?!" Erza shouted and that caught everyone's attention. When everyone's attention was into (Y/N). Wendy instantly ran up to her and healed her because of the voice in her head that kept and kept on telling her "heal her! Heal her now! Use your magic!".

"Mirajane!" Makarov called for the white haired woman. "Call for Porlyusica! Tell her its something urgent!" Makarov continued. "Hai!(yes!)" answered Mirajane. "Everyone look!" Lucy exclaimed as she picked up a piece of paper from the floor that had a sign drawn in it.

Lucy gave the paper to Erza, "i've seen that somewhere before!" Lucy stated while thinking. Levy appeared beside Erza and flinched. "T-That Magic Circle..." Levy stuttered. "What is it?!" Natsu shouted. Levy gulped and answered "a magic circle that was once used to summon a demon".."Eh?!" Everyone gasped.
Erza then flipped the paper around and there was a letter at the back. After reading it, Erza's eyes widened. "What was written?" Lucy asked. Erza didn't respond and walked up straight to the Master and handing it to them. Makarov's eyes also widened in shock after he read the note.

The other mages were wondering what was written there. Finally, Natsu was able to grab it and said. "What the hell was that?!?! (Y/N) is not a Demon!!" He shouted slamming his fist onto the table at his side. Everyone's eyes widened at the said statement.

The Note:

Hello (Y/N),
As I can see you have been in a suitable life these months. And im wondering if you still remember me from 3 years ago. It has been also 3 years since you showed your true self. Are you scared now little girl? Well, just to inform you that the next demon to be summoned....is you.

~Natsu's POV~

After I read the note. My eyes widened in shock. I couldn't move at all. But the urge of my blood boiling didn't do anything. I punched the table beside me very hard that it broke. "What the hell was that?!?! (Y/N) is not a demon!!" I shouted. What did it mean? (Y/N) is not a demon! She's a human, a dragon slayer, a wizard! She is not a demon!

But there's still one thing stuck in my mind...what did it mean by "true self"?

"Natsu calm down! You're raging wont help us with anything!" Erza scolded. "Master! Porlyusica-san is here!" Mirajane stated. "So, what's the urgent?" Porlyusica asked. "She is brought to the infirmary" Master said. Lucy went beside me and picked up the letter. Her eyes widened and she murmured "a..demon?"

I released a 'tch' and followed the others to the infirmary.

~Time Skip~
~Third Person's POV~

After the bad happenings. The ball was stopped and the guild members decided to head home and Jellal headed back to his prison. Everyone left except for Makarov, Erza, Gray, Lucy, Levy, Mirajane, and the 3 Dragon Slayers.

~Erza's POV~

I still didn't forget what was written in the letter... 'The next demon to be summoned..is you'

What was it suppose to mean?

After some time. Master and Mirajane headed down to the guild hall telling us that (Y/N)'s wounds were cured and the blood pour stopped. Porlyusica already left after helping the healing of (Y/N) and telling us to let her sleep and get plenty of rest. Levy is now helping us to search more about the Magic Circle by reading some books where she said she saw it.

Later on. I decided to go to the infirmary and check on (Y/N). Gray, Lucy, Natsu, and Wendy decided to follow me. When we were inside, we took sits around (Y/N)'s sleeping figure. Later on, the moon's light shone up brighter to (Y/N)'s face and a dark purple raven {the bird} appeared and landed onto my shoulder.

"A raven?" Lucy asked. I nodded and Wendy questioned with "what is it doing there?". Suddenly, it flew up to the air and a violet light surrounded it that we needed to cover our eyes. After the light was gone, the raven bird was gone too. Instead a girl, that maybe is a little younger than (Y/N), appeared with a black dress that reached below her knees and violet hair that reached up to her feet which is tied into a loose braid.

"Another attacker?!" Lucy exclaimed as we got into our fighting stances. "Please calm down..im not evil" the girl informed us. We didn't move an inch as she walked towards (Y/N)'s body. "Dont dare touch her!" Natsu, Wendy, and Gray said. "Who are you?" I asked calmly. "My name is Luciana" she presented. "I am someone from (Y/N)-sama's past" she finished and bowed to us.

A/N: of course we all know that Juvia calls Gray "Gray-sama" right? Well, if some of you guys dont know what "sama" means, i'll explain. Sama (様) is the formal version of san. It's used in addressing persons higher in rank than oneself, Sama is also often used for people considered to have some high ability or be particularly attractive... That's all I can say, hope that helped

Well, sorry if its just a short chapter but i promise next chapter will be better! Maybe you're wondering now why they called (Y/N) a "demon" in the letter, and you're also wondering who is the letter from, and also who is Luciana. ehehehehe, if you are, stay tune until the next chapter.
