Chapter 21 Going Back 3 Years Ago

~Erza's POV~

"A raven?" Lucy asked. I nodded and Wendy questioned with "what is it doing there?". Suddenly, it flew up to the air and a violet light surrounded it that we needed to cover our eyes. After the light was gone, the raven bird was gone too. Instead a women that maybe is in the same age as (Y/N) appeared with a black dress that reached below her knees and violet hair that reached up to her feet which is tied into a loose braid.

"Another attacker?!" Lucy exclaimed as we got into our fighting stances. "Please calm down..im not evil" the girl informed us. We didn't move an inch as she walked towards (Y/N)'s body. "Dont dare touch her!" Natsu, Wendy, and Gray said. "Who are you?" I asked calmly. "My name is Luciana" she presented. "I am someone from (Y/N)-sama's past" she finished and bowed to us.

~Erza's POV~

"You're someone from (Y/N)'s past?...are you one of her family?" Lucy asked the girl named Luciana. "I am not from (Y/N)-sama's family, but we became close along with my...brother" she said, I noticed that before she said 'brother', she seemed to hesitate in saying it. "U-umm..do you mind if I tell you something about (Y/N)-sama, 3 years ago?" She asked. I nodded as well as the others.

We offered her a seat which she took and now, she's starting.

~Natsu's POV~

A Raven bird who turned into a girl was saying something explaining what happened with her and (Y/N) blah blah blah. I wasn't really paying attention until she mentioned to tell us about (Y/N)'s past which was 3 years ago. She sat down and we payed close attention to when she was starting.

~Third Person's POV~

"Me and my older brother met (Y/N)-sama on our journey 3 years ago. My brother's name is Lucifer. A monster was attacking me and my brother, but before that monster attacked there was a smoke that made my brother weak and didn't have the power to fight the monster. It was about to attack us but (Y/N)-sama appeared and killed the monster. We were really grateful to her for that.

After that happenings, we came with (Y/N)-sama on her journeys. Telling her that we owed her our lives and we will protect her no matter what. She protested at first but decided to get over it and let us join her. She was nice and kind, but we've only saw her smile once, it was small and a fast smile, but at least we saw it. My brother liked her, not just because they were at the same age, but because of what has happened." Luciana explained. In mentioning her brother's feelings for the Maiden Mage, Natsu's hand formed into a fist knowing that somebody close with (Y/N) from her past liked her too. But he didn't let the others notice.

And so, Luciana continued. "After 2 months with (Y/N)-sama, we stopped at a forest to take our rest their. Suddenly, a monster attacked us again. But that time it wasn't just a monster, it was a demon. It attacked straightly to my brother's chest. Straight to his heart. During that time, I felt my world tremble apart into pieces. My brother...was everything to me. Despite the fact that (Y/N)-sama felt the same. That time, I knew the exact feeling, the feeling that made you wanna shout very loudly the whole world would hear it.

The demon that attacked us, suddenly transferred into a human wearing a dark cloak. I can still remember the exact words he said that time, it was 'if you want this human alive again, give me half of your heart'. And the heart he was talking about was...(Y/N)-sama's heart." Luciana stopped.

~Natsu's POV~

(Y/N)'s heart?! I dont get it...at all! "Then..what happened?" Lucy asked. Then this Luciana girl looked down and continued.

"(Y/N)-sama once told me that loosing someone important hurts very much. So instead of leaving me alone with my dead brother. She sacrificed half her heart to the demon that killed my brother. But when my brother was reborn, the kind and good hearted Lucifer nii-san I had" she fisted both her hands as tears streamed down her face.

"The brother I loved...became a cold hearted demon" she said. All of us tensed up, even Erza. "E-eh?" Wendy stuttered. "That wasn't the brother I had loved. That was the demon Lucifer. (Y/N)-sama knew that and she tried to save me from my brother. But instead, the new born Lucifer opened a portal and pushed (Y/N)-sama in." She stopped again. So this Lucifer guy...has half of (Y/N)'s heart?

~Third Person's POV~

"But before (Y/N)-sama was sucked into the portal. The demon who attacked us made a spell onto (Y/N)-sama. That spell was called 'Dark Shadow Spell', its a spell that makes (Y/N)-sama a half human...and half demon. After that, the portal swallowed (Y/N)-sama, and she was transported to another place away from where we were." Luciana finished.

Everyone was frozen. They were confused, curious, and shocked. They didn't know what was really going on. Suddenly, Luciana's bracelet glowed a violet light and she gasped.

"I got no time left...but before I leave. Never tell anyone else about (Y/N)-sama's other side, and never make her go full power" Luciana stated and with that, she transformed into a Raven again and flew up to the moon's light and disappeared. Leaving the Fairy Tail mages. Confused.

~Erza's POV~

'Never make her go full power'..that was the words that marked our mind. I looked at the others and we all share glances with each other. I don't know what the others were thinking at this moment, but I know what I was.

'Who really is (Y/N)?"
