5. Golden Retriever

"Hey" Charlie says.
Coming up behind Alex hugging him and kissing his neck.
"What the fuck , who does that" Alex said.
"Guys do it , it's a thing, it's like a titanic king of the world kinda thing, I've seen it done" Charlie said.
"Ok well I'm not Kate Winslet and what is even happening here" Alex said.
"Between us , I guess I kinda felt like maybe we would be a thing now , no I don't know , cos your like the first actual guy I've kissed whose like kissed me back and your like a real non imaginary person" Charlie says.
"Tyler is back in school like nothing happened" Alex said.
"What, how wait what do you mean" Charlie asks.
"I don't fucking know and Tony says we're not supposed to tell anyone and that he'll deal with it" Alex says.
"And he will" Charlie replied.
"Hey" Charlie said touching Alex's arm.
Alex pulls back.
"Look can we just , i don't know, look I have history and my interview later" Alex said.
"Yeah ok" Charlie said.
"St.George" Luke , one of Charlie's jock friends says.
"Got the math answers or what" Luke said.
Charlie looks at Alex.
"You should probably take care of that, go" Alex said.
Charlie looks at Alex again and gets up walking to his friends.
Charlie walks out the room looking back at Alex.

Later that day
Alex walks out after doing his collage interview.
Into the hallway. Around the corner is Charlie.
"How'd it go" Charlie asks.
"What are you even doing here" Alex asked.
"I wanted to see how it went" Charlie asks.
"You're like a fucking golden retriever, don't you give up" Alex said.
"Nah I'm like a Russel Wilson, never given up on a play , always scrambling, so how'd it go" Charlie said.
"It sucked , because I'm extremely fucked up and if you weren't an idiot you'd stay away".
Alex said.
Alex walks away out of school.
