10. Asking Alex To Prom

Alex's POV
I was walking through the hallway at school.
Walking past the lockers.
The lockers had yellow posters with blue writing on them.
"ALEX"
"HEY ALEX LOOK OVER HERE"
A photo of Charlie was on one of the doors.
"HEY ALEX WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME?"
I see Charlie up ahead holding flowers and pink and blue balloons.
I just walk past him, leaving him confused.

Later that day
I walk into class , their are people sitting in every seat , holding a mask with Charlie's face over their head with a "PROM?" sign in their hands.
"Well that's just creepy" Alex says walking out the classroom.
Charlie pulls down the mask and sign.
"Oh" Charlie says upset.

A while later
I'm on the phone talking about my service hours I have to do cleaning the book room at school because of what I did at the riot.
I walk in to the room and see Charlie sitting there. With a bunch of fairy lights all around the room and candles with a "PROM?" sign in lights on the window.
"You can't have candles in here this a book room" Alex says.
"Oh there prop candles , there's no live flames" Charlie replies.
Alex sighs.
"Ok if I say yes , will this all stop"'Alex asks.
"Ya , that's the point of it" Charlie said.
"So, yes" Alex responds.
"Yes, Charlie ..." Charlie says.
"Yes, Charles Hayden Brixton St.George , I will go to prom with you" Alex replies.
Charlie smiles.
He kisses Alex.
