9. Coming Out

Charlie's POV
I came out to my dad yesterday and he was really supportive.

I was nervous but it went good.
I'm about to meet Alex's family for the first time today.

Later that day
Alex's POV
I'm about to come out to my family.
I really hope it goes well.
Me and Charlie walk downstairs to the dining room where my mother and father and my Brother Peter.

"Oh there you are boys, I don't believe Peter and I have met our dinner guest tonight" my mom says.
"This is Charlie" Alex said.
"Charlie St.George , the new quarterback" Peter says.
"Yep , and also he's my boyfriend" Alex replied.
"Well, good to see you again Charlie, I hope you like steak" my dad asks.
"Yes sir" Charlie responds.
"Your dating the fucking quarterback , sweet" Peter said.
My mom moans at Peter swearing. "Peter, language".
"That's awesome, Charlie your sitting here man, we gotta talk about Liberty's offends." Peter says.
"Good luck, Charlie" my dad replied.
Peter laughs.
Charlie sits next to my brother.
My mom walks up to me.
"You ok" my mom asks.
"Yeah , no , I thought this would be a bigger deal somehow" Alex responds.
"Well, is he good to you, does he make you happy" my mom says.
Alex and his mom look at Peter talking to Charlie about sports.
"Yeah a lot" Alex replies.
"Then it's a very big deal to me" my mom said.
She hugs Alex.
They sit down and have a nice meal with the new couple.
