After work, Beatriz went to the clinic to pick up Copper. Dani welcomed her with a nervous smile.

"Hey! Where is he?" Bea asked

"Ate uhm ano kasi" Dani stutters

Bea looked at her

"Madami akong pinatest for Cop." she finally say

"Ah if need naman okay lang. Magkano ba?" Bea gets her wallet pero pinigilan ni Dani

"Let's check on him first siguro, Ate"

Dani guided her sa isang room. Copper seems so weak. He has catheter on him.

"Why is he.."

Dani cutted

"Cystinuria"

Bea curiosly looked at her

"Cucu has little stones in his bladder" she explained

Bea's speechless

"mabuti na nakita agad this early. Kung medyo tumagal surgery yung treatment pero dahil maaga pa it is best to do voiding urohydropropulsion."

She's almost crying

" Tinawagan ko na din si Kuya, Ate. Uuwi daw siya agad after his meeting. I'll do the procedure tomorrow. And it will be best na dito muna siya"

"Is it my fault?" Bea asked without looking at Dani

"No ate. genetic siya. I think Kuya called Kuya Matt about this na"

Bea nodded

"He will not die naman no?" Bea nervously asked

"He will not, Ate" Dani assured her

"I'll come back tomorrow before work and maaga nalang ako uuwi."

Dani nodded and lets her bond with Cop before leaving. Bea pats him

"Auntie Dani will take care of you and take all your stones. okay? Don't worry about it. Mama will go here tomorrow and your Dad will be home by the day after tomorrow. We are all here, my Cop" she cheers him up.

Copper licks her hand and Bea kissed his head

"Please don't leave me Cop. Hindi ko kakayanin" she whispered

After settling the bills, Bea drives home.

She cleaned her mess from this morning before taking a bath. She can't stop thinking about Copper.

The next day, Bea visited Cop and brought his favorite toy. She kissed his head before going.

"I'll do it after lunch time, Ate." Dani told her

Bea nodded and say "Thank you so much, Dani. Ikaw na bahala. Call me if something happens"

"Yes, Ate."

Bea's a little distracted in her work. She constantly checks her phone and can't function properly.

"Ms. De Leon, pinapatawag po kayo ni Sir Elmer sa office niya" her dad's secretary said

Bea sighed and followed her

"Is he on bad mood?" Bea asked

"Medyo po pero andon po si Mam Det."

"Oh okay okay. Thank you"
