Edwin Collar sat in his house in the Chippewa Cession, wondering if Raelle was doing well with her rescue mission. He was awakened from his daydream when his phone rang.
It was Raelle.
"Hey, Dad." said his daughter. Edwin responded with a, "How's your mission?"
"We finished it." Edwin heard Raelle sigh. "Dad? Please don't freak out and call me crazy when I tell you this, okay?" asked Raelle.
"Yes, baby, of course." soothed Edwin. He could hear Raelle sobbing from the other end of the phone.
"Mom is alive. She's Spree." said Raelle. Edwin gasped.
"That's impossible. They sent her body back to us, Rae!" said Edwin.
"That was someone else. Petra Bellweather said that they tried her best to save that cadet, but couldn't. Mom survived her Citydrop." said Raelle.
Edwin couldn't believe it. Willa, his wife and forever love, was alive.
But she was Spree.
He heard Raelle hang up the line.
And almost screamed. Standing in front of him was a Fort Salem operative.
And his unconscious body was dragged into the back of a truck headed to Fort Salem.
And it was driven by a heartbroken Anacostia.
