Roll the 8-Ball!

It's a nice day in Inkopolis and Jade challenges Newbie to Squid Beatz (hard mode). Both are doing well to be hard-beginners...

<<New- oh...it was a dream...again>> Jade says waking up <<Well, now let's move on to the tests>>. "Roll the 8-Ball" <<In this test you have to roll the ball to the goal>> Marina explains, <<Easy peasy, lemon squeasy!>> Jade says sure...but she was wrong (How evil i am😈) the 8-Ball falls and C.Q. Cumber says at her <<You let an 8-Ball fall-test failed>> a "sanitizer green (?)" colored bag inflates under Jade's ink tank, explodes and splats her. She respawns <<I want to know how the fu- i mean how the hell a stupid bag splats me! HOW?!>> she tries the test again. This time she stops in the point where the 8-Ball had fallen

Jade: <<Pearl! Marina! Can you explain how to push ahead the 8-Ball?>>

Pearl: <<Uhmm...>>

Marina: <<I think you have to push the 8-Ball to the left so that the platform sends it to the floor>>

Jade: <<Thanks>>

Marina <<You're welcome>>

Jade follow the advice hoping to have pushed the 8-Ball well...but instead...FALLS! <<You let an 8-Ball fall-test failed>> C.Q. Cumber says again and the first attempt thing happens. She respawns <<*sigh* I'm not giving up!>>

9 8-Balls dropped later...

Marina: <<Jade...looks like you're struggling a bit out there. Do you need a help?>>

Jade: <<Ohhh now you've noticed that. SURE I NEED IT!!! IF YOU BRING YOUR OCTOLING ASS HERE YOU WOULD HELP ME!!!>>

Marina: <<Calm down and i'm not an octoling!>>

Jade: <<So why you have four tentacles instead of two?!>>

Marina: <<Just shut up and use my help!>>

Jade: <<*whispers* She's an octoling>>

Marina hacks the Deepsea Metro system to pass Jade's test automatically and fortunately C.Q. Cumber doesn't notice (he would be furious if he knew). Jade returns to the train and chats with the idols

DJ_Hyperfresh > This place must be deep beneath the surface. It seems to be under the influence of a powerful magnetic force...
DJ_Hyperfresh > Too powerful for conventional models to simulate actually. Based on the numbers I'm seeing, powerful enough to distort spacetime itself!
DJ_Huperfresh > Jade, have you observed any abnormalities in your surroundings there?

J-Squid > Sure yes: all octarians are green, have blue tentacles with yellow tips, speak the classic octoling language but their voice has a kind of background sound and use a strange green ink that reminds me of the sanitizer...

DJ_Hyperfresh > Riiiiight...
DJ_Hyperfresh > Anyway, it's almost like your location is in a different dimension than Inkopolis

J-Squid > Different dimension?

DJ_Hyperfresh > Yeah...as long as you keep passing tests, we should be able to figure out what's going on
DJ_Hyperfresh > We'll support you as much as we can. Keep it up!

J-Squid > Thanks...but Pearl should be back

DJ_Hyperfresh > She's copping some snacks...

J-Squid > But you have to say "goodbye" to readers and Splatoon fans...

DJ_Hyperfresh > AAAAH! The readers!

Author's note:
This chapter should have been released yesterday but i was unable to publish it because i went to the beach (and i had to finish it). Oh yes, i think C.Q. Cumber is secretly evil (we, Splatoon fans know why). I think that in the last chapter (THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE BOOK) Jade will also say "goodbye" to you because from the beginning she knew she was being watched or rather read by someone as opposed to the others who don't know it (like Newbie). She's not me, but a figure of mine who represents me so i'm NOT part of the story (excluding the moments behind the scenes of the 15th chapter). The part where Jade said "IF YOU BRING YOUR OCTOLING ASS HERE YOU WOULD HELP ME!!!" don't take it badly, i didn't want to be mean with Marina...it's just a fun time. Leave a comment and remember
