WHO IS THE GREATEST SEEKER THAT HAS EVER STEPPED INTO HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY?

If you happen to find yourself in the Gryffindor common room, located behind the infamous Fat Lady's portrait, and asked that simple question to a second year belonging in the aforementioned house, the answer would always be the same: Lalisa Manoban.

Lalisa Manoban, a sixth year student in Hogwarts, believes that she was born for Quidditch. Made for it, she proudly proclaims, as if the universe brought her parents together to create and hone the (possibly) greatest Seeker to ever play for the Gryffindor team.

As soon as she stepped inside the Hogwarts castle, she already knew she was destined for greatness. After being recruited as a Seeker during her first year (the first one after six years at that), she had won Gryffindor the Quidditch Cup during the Championships after a 50/50 game with Ravenclaw.

However, if you found yourself wandering the halls of the dungeon at the lower floors and asked that question to passing Syltherin, they would scoff as if the answer was obvious. Jeon Jeongguk, of course, who else? they would sneer.

Jeon Jeongguk, a sixth year student in Hogwarts, believes that Quidditch is such an easy game that he can play it in his sleep. So easy, he boasts, that a dumb fool could play it. He does not break a sweat even as he chases the Golden Snitch down and down to the ground, and always manages to throw a wink to the awestruck faces of Slytherin girls before grabbing it with his hand, marking him as the greatest Seeker Slytherin has ever had.

As soon as he stepped inside the Hogwarts castle, he wasted no time and headed to the Slytherin Quidditch captain, Min Yoongi, and practically demanded him to make him as the team's Seeker. Although doubtful, Yoongi did not regret his decision as Jeongguk won the said House the Quidditch Cup during his second year against a game with Hufflepuff.

However, when both of the legendary Seekers proceeded into their third year, things changed (or in other words, worsened.)

Gryffindor pummeled Hufflepuff during the first part of the Quidditch season, Slytherin smashed Ravenclaw to bits and pieces. After a long series of arguments and quarrels from all the houses, the results were determined as the Quidditch Championship neared.

Gryffindor against Slytherin--the rival Houses.

By this time, each and every student was practically out of their seats as soon as the news came out. Quidditch was always exciting, alright, but their curiosity was rather focused on the two Seekers of these Houses, questions like who's better, Manoban or Jeon? or, will Slytherin win the Quidditch Cup for the second time in a row? flooded the hallways and filled the classrooms, to the point where the teachers appointed detention to those who talked about the topic.

Of course, Lalisa and Jeongguk were aware of the talk of the school.

When a fellow Gryffindor, Shin Ryujin--a first year muggle born--approached Lalisa at the Gryffindor common room one night, she'd asked the one question that had Lalisa laughing: who do you think is better, Lali? You or Jeon?

Lalisa almost cried after the words poured from her lips. She'd flipped her blonde locks over her shoulder, wiped the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief, and stared at the first year dead in the eye.

"There is no need to ask me that, Ryu," said Lisa. "Everyone knows that Jeon cheats his way to victory, and I do not. I think I don't need to give you an answer, as I know you're already thinking that it's me."

The entire common room shook with cheers that night.

On the other side of the dungeons, the Slytherin common room was rather filled with loud hoots and never-ending laughter.

The Slytherin Seeker, Jeon Jeongguk was perched on a comfortable chair that was enchanted to float three feet from the ground. He had his legs crossed, his long sleeves rolled up to his wrists and his lips painted in a smirk, basking in the attention that his fellow housemates gave him.

"Beat that Manoban into a pulp, Jeon!"

"Make sure she falls off her broom!"

Jeongguk laughed, staring down at the crowd that had gathered all around him. "Just you wait and see," assured Jeongguk, "just you wait."

They did wait and see.

A week later, on a rainy Saturday just right after the Easter holidays, the awaited Gryffindor-Slytherin match happened.

Gryffindor won.

You might think that everything went smoothly but oh, it certainly did not.

The two Seekers were exceptional, of course, it was a given. They were both a violent blur of green and scarlet, circling around the Quidditch pitch. That is, only if you ignore the way Jeon Jeongguk continously bumped into Lalisa Manoban's broom, and if you ignore the Slytherin Seeker's continuous taunts throughout the game.

Either way, Gryffindor still won, but the rivalry started from there.

The next year, Slytherin took the Quidditch Cup back. Imagine the smug smirk on Jeon's face as he personally flied to where Manoban was sitting and winked at her.

(The first years claimed they saw real smoke blowing out from her ears.)

During their fifth year, Gryffindor. Lalisa had given Jeongguk a flying kiss before heading to the grounds to claim their awaited Quidditch Cup.

(Jeon, however, did not show any emotion. He just simply raised a brow and stared at the flying girl blankly.)

Sixth year? Oh, that's still uncertain, but one thing's for sure: both Seekers of the Gryffindor House and the Slytherin House will face each other in the pitch again.
