Chapter 6: Beach day with the Enemy

Ira's POV:

After Bowling the Glitter Force and Regina decide to go to the Beach.
On the way there Glitter Clover decides to try to strike up a conversation with me.
"I didn't know you could Bowl so well Ira." She says.
"I have a Temper, and instead of taking my anger out on the Mercnaers I take it out on the Bowling Pins." I say.
"Wow that's really kind of you." She says.
"Huh? Whaddya mean?" I ask.
"You could easily take your anger on the Mercnaers but instead you decide to take it out on the Pins." She says.
My eyes widen slightly, then I remember,
"Well once Marmo got me really fired up, so I used her as a Pin." I tell her, to my surprise she laughs.
"Hey wanna go for Ice Cream later!" Regina suggests.
"Ice..- What?" I ask.
"Ice Cream! It's delicious! You'll love it!" Glitter Heart exclaims.
"Okay?" I agree, but I'm not sure if I should be doing this.

-~~At the Beach~~-

Makenzie's POV:

Why did Regina bring him? I wonder as I dive underwater.
I surface and look for Ira, he isnt in the water, just sitting on the sand.
I swim up to him.
"Aren't you getting in?" I ask.
"Sorry Glitter Spade, I don't swim." He says.
"Why not?" I ask, and why didn't he call me Makenzie?
"Seems like a pointless activity." He says.
"How?" I ask.
"I mean, what's the point?" He asks.
"Its fun." I tell him.
"Seems pointless to me." Ira looks to the sky.
"If you don't wanna be here, why'd ya come?" I ask.
He says nothing, just points to Regina.
"She forced you to come?" I ask.
He nods.
"I like the Ocean, just not getting in it." He says.
"Oh. I didn't know you liked the Ocean." I say.
"Well I do." He says.

Natalie POV:

Makenzie and Ira are sitting on the Sand talking... I wonder, what are they talking about?
I swim back to shore and sit next to Makenzie.
"What are you guys talking about?" I ask.
"I just wanted to know why he wasn't swimming, he told me he likes the Ocean but doesn't want to get in." She explains.
"Oh." I mumble.
"C'mon guys lets go get Ice Cream!" Regina exclaims.
We head to the Parlor and Ira seems a little confused as to what to do.
"He'll have the Strawberry." I say.
We sit down and start eating our Ice Cream.
"Don't eat to fast or you'll get a Brain Freeze, it's like a major Migraine." I tell him.
"Okay?" He says.
"I don't wanna be here." I hear Ira mumble.
We continue with out conversation and I realize Ira isnt talking, he seems to have zoned out.
Rachel notices it too.
"You okay Ira?" She asks.
"I'm fine." He says.
"We have to go, cya later girls!" Regina exclaims.
"Come on Ira!" She exclaims.
He nods and stands up.
"Cya next battle Glitter Force." He says, and they flash away.
