"WHERE did you go last saturday?"

I put aside my pen and close the book I am currently reading. Looking at the man right here in front of me, I look at him and arched my eyebrows.

Mukha namang natauhan siya at kumalma, umupo sa silyang nasa harapan ng table ko dito sa Office. I turned my attention to the book , letting him sit in front of me. He seemed so pissed and irritated well I can't blame him. I ditched him. Barri's teeth gritted while I remained silent.

"Did you ever know how long I waited for you?" He asked frowning.

"I was busy last Saturday" I simply replied to him.

"As always" he said irritable.

"I was doing my lesson plans Barri"

"And you forgot our date?"

"Yeah" with that he got really pissed. I can see his nose turning red. He stood up in front of me.

"Fine. Seems like you don't care"

Narinig kong sumara na ang pinto mismong pagkalabas ng Barri ng office ko. Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako. Hindi naman kasi totoong nakalimutan ko ang usapan naming dalawa, sadyang hindi ko siya sinipot.

Tiningnan ko ang kalendaryong nasa tabi ng printer sa gilid ko, may kung anong emosyon ang naramdaman ko ng makita ko ang ika-sampu ng Hulyo. Napalunok ako at inalala kung may mahalang pagdiriwnag ba sa araw na iyon pero wala, wala akong maalala.

I chose to entertain myself with some stuffs. It was 2:30 in the afternoon when I went out mu office for my class. Holding my things, I go inside the room with dull emotions.

"Prepare for your recital, I'll give you 10 minutes to review"

I can here them refused but I chosed to ignore it. Bobolahin na naman nila ako para wag lang matuloy ang recital na ito na dapat ay nuong nakaraang meeting pa.

"I'll randomly picked you okay? No cheating" I said my arranging the index cards in my hand.

Mukha namang nag-aaral sila kaya't hindi ko na muna sila pahihirapan ngayon. I just want to test their understanding and hear their ideas about my subject. Recital would be a great help for me to know them more.

"Ma'am!" I look at my students who raises his hand and talking to me.

"Yes?" I walk closely to him.

"Pwedeng 'Call a friend' ?" He said smiling.

"Where do you think are we? High school?" I asked him with eyebrows up.

Parang napahiya naman siya at umupo na sa upuan niya. Nasulyapan ko pang nginisihan ang kaibigang nasa likod. Tsk.

"Arsenio, explain the difference between Phenetics and Cladistics"

"Ma'am, C-cladistics can be defined as the study of the pathways of evolution."

Nakita kong tila napapalunok siya. Naguguluhan kung ano nga ba ang sasabihin.
