Chapter 12

your eyes widened when you saw Zenitsu crying. the world stopped when Giyuu took your hand and pulled you towards him. then, the background changes into beautiful grassland. you saw Tanjiro and others smiling at you. before you knew it, he hugged you and started crying

"Y/n it's alright...I won't let that happen again. I'll protect you" he said but your arms remained hanging loosely to your sides. your tears started to fall. then
the background changes into white and you saw the yellow haired boy smiling at you sadly with a rope on his neck.

"this is my punishment" he said as tears started to fall from his eyes.
you screamed, desperate to save him.

then you saw Giyuu's hand infront of you. the time was repeated. Giyuu tried to take your hand but you dodge it. you went to where Zenitsu is and you hugged him. the background changes into Grey and you saw him holding your hands and running into deep forest. after minutes of running, the background changes into white. you saw yourself cuddling with him. you looked at the other side and you saw a baby with black hair being carried by him. he smiled happily as he kissed their forehead. everything turned black then you woke up.

you woke up only to be greeted by pain. you looked at your arm to see Zenitsu's name written in kanji. your blood boiled when he entered the room

"what is this?!" you shouted but he only frowned

"you don't want it? I asked you and you said yes" your eyes widened when you heard that.

"here your name" he raised his arm and there. you saw your name written by you.

"what's wrong Y/n-chan? did you regret doing it with me? " he smirked when he saw your shocked expression. he took a thunderous step making you flinch
"it's your choice"

"shut up! you're the one who started it! you're the one who made me feel this way! " you yelled angrily.

"but you want it right? " he looked at the hickeys on your neck, admiring it. he's the one who made you crazy. he did it so that you can have regrets and use it for an excuse. his eyes widened for a second before holding your hand tightly. he dragged his sword and started to run out of the house

"what are you--"

"we're going to escape" he said seriously. the thought of them coming to rescue you raised your hope. but then you remembered your dream.

now what will you do?

Their eyes widen as it could when they saw Inosuke sitting on a tree

"Inosuke? what are you doing here? " Tanjiro asked but he remained silent. a heavy atmosphere silenced the squad. their world stopped when the boar attacked Tanjiro. his eyes widened in confusion and hurt as he dodge Inosuke's attacks. the boar slashed his arms resulting him to scream in pain. Giyuu pinned him down and they tied him.

"Inosuke, why are you being like this? what did Zenitsu do to you?" Tanjiro said hurt but he didn't answer. he mumbled something adding a pain to his chest

"you all need die" he said and started struggling. the squad got nervous when they saw intense hatred in his eyes. they found the one who went missing in a year, but they don't know him anymore. Tanjiro begged him to
come back but he just kicked him away. unfortunately, he successfully destroyed the rope in his stomach. he fight them one by one until Giyuu snapped his arm and pin him behind. the head fell and he tried to struggle but soon give up. Shinobu stopped him and the boar fell on its knees. he then started to cry

"he brainwashed me. I got fooled. I just wanted to go back. but he... he betrayed us" he said as he pick up the boar head and put it back in his head. Tanjiro put his hand on his shoulder

"but I'm glad that you're back" he said with close eyed smile. he stood up and reach a hand for him
"now let's go rescue Y/n! " he said waiting patiently for him to take his hand. then he slowly held his hand. they run and run until they see a cottage..

what will you choose?

a.) run away with Zenitsu

b.) get some help from them
