"Are you sure this is safe?" You ask for more than the tenth time, turning to Gabe as he typed away on his computer.
"Honestly? No." Gabe's gray eyes met your (e/c) ones for a brief moment. "Which is why Pollux is going with you."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Pollux is one of our most reliable members... So whats the thinking?" Gabe turned back to his computer.
"Pollux is an ass." You growl. As if on signal, the red haired man named Pollux Wolfe walked into the room, pulling his long hair back into a messy bun.
He wore a white shirt, black tie, shoes, and pants along with suspenders that had dual pistols held inside holsters attatched to them.
"You take forever to get ready." You say as he pulled on gloves.
"Fuggoff." Pollux growled, giving you a nice view of his middle finger. You sigh as he pulled on a deep red trench coat.
Gabe typed a little bit longer until a portal opened, the other side a deep darkness. Per protocol, you checked your (f/c), formitting outfit one last time.
"Come back in one piece." Gabe said, smiling softly.
"We'll try." You say.
"No promises." Pollux added.
"Be sure to tell my family that I died being a hero if I don't-" you were cut off as Pollux groaned and pushed you through the portal.
"You talk too much." He said before jumping through behind you.
