In fell on the ground crying. Why? If he knew he couldn't wait he shouldn't have accepted. This week was about to finish and I could've been with him publicly but he decided to end it all. I lost track of time and fell asleep.

I woke up and I was on the floor. I could feel my face swollen and my eyes puffy from crying. It is Sunday, so tomorrow I have to see him. I can't just disappear from our friend group since none of them knew about the relationship. I can't tell my parents about the break up either because he wasn't supposed to be here yesterday. I had no one to talk to about it.

"Hey mami" Zabdiel hugged me and spread kisses all over my face
"Why didn't you come to us the last week?" Joel asked
"I had stuff to do" I lied
"And the tutoring?" Chris asked. Why are they so nosey
"Stop it with the questions please" Richard said looking down. First time I heard his voice since the... you know.
Today I had to wear more makeup than usual because I had bags under my eyes and my face was kind of red. Today I'm supposed to tell my parents too.
"Mami, can we go out us too alone someday. I want to tell you something in private" Zabdiel asked in my ear. I smiled. What did this fool want to tell me?
"Sure, you can spend the night at my house today after tutoring if you want" I suggested in his ear
"Are your parents cool with that?"
"Mhm, I made them realize I already grew up" I answered
"Then I'll bring an extra bag"

Tutoring was over, Richard didn't come today so at least that was good.
"Mom and Dad, Zabdi is staying over tonight. He's sleeping in the guest room." I said to my parents and they nodded. That was easy
"Wait honey I thought you were dating Richard" my mom said
"We actually broke up but I don't wanna talk about it now" I responded "Zabdiel is just my best friend"
"Yeah, friend" my mom repeated. My mom has gone from restricting boys to talking about them with me. I walked to the living room and Zabdi was there using his phone.
"Loco, dijeron que si" i said and he looked up at me
"Que bueno!!" He jumped up and down like a child
"Ven" i walked him to the guest room for him to put his things

Where watching a movie in my room and we're kind of cuddling and I felt Zabdiel looking at me
"What?" I looked up at him
"You don't realize it, do you?"
"Realize what?"
"This" he leaned in
His lips were now in mine and I responded but then I snapped back to reality.
"Wait, Zabdi. This can't be" I said removing myself from his arms
"Why Not?" He asked
"You're my best friend and I really love you but as a friend. Look I'm not supposed to tell you this but me and Richard dated. He broke up with me only 2 days before today" I confessed
"Is he dumb? He had you and he left you? Did he tell you at least why?" He became upset
"He has 'needs' as in sex" I quoted the word needs with my fingers "I'm not ready for that"
"I understand, here mami come" he opened his arms for a hug. Finally I could talk with someone about it.
I told him everything and he was there for me. That's a good friend.
