I sat in the lounge chair next to Taylor's bed, watching the sun rise up in the window I couldn't help but feel awkward being alone with her right now. Shutting my eyes I tilted my head as I attempted to relax.
"Jessie?" Taylor's voice called out soft and weak.
"Yea?" Picking my head up my eyes met her baby blues. Starring at her I couldn't help but feel guilt build up in the pit of my stomach.
"Can I be honest?" She questioned softly. Nodding my head I waited for whatever it was she wanted to tell me. "When I woke up, it saw that you weren't here and I was upset cause I thought I had pushed you away for good." Her voice was soft and I felt even worse. Putting my hand over hers I intertwined our fingers and held it close.

"When I heard you wrecked, I was a complete disaster. I was so worried cause the thought of loosing you terrified me completely." My voice was low as I rubbed my thumb against her hand. Lowering my face I quickly wiped a tear from my face.
"Jessie." She shook my hand catching my attention. "Let's never fight like that again ok?" She smiled slightly filling my stomach of guilt with joy.

"Ok." I spoke placing her hand against my lips kissing her fingers softly. I watched a small smile creep onto her face. Touching my hand to her forehead I ran my fingers through her hair. Bending over I kissed her forehead.
"Get some rest now ok?" Smiling at her I watched her eyes.
"I wanna talk to you." She whined softly. Shaking my head at her I denied her wishes.
"You'll have plenty of time to talk to me when you get better." Rubbing small circles on her head I watched her eyes shut softly. "I'll still be here" I whispered.

Sitting back in the lounge chair I shut my heavy eye-lids. A small smile perked up on my face as I realized, Taylor and I were still holding hands.

"Come on Jeremy!" I hollered out to him standing at the front door. Ugh! Why was he taking so much time!!
"Calm down Jess I'm coming!" Appearing from his door we made our way out to the truck. Jumping into the passenger seat I rushed for him to get in and start the truck.
"Jessie calm down." He laughed at me as I starred him down with my green spears.

Making out way from our driveway, it felt like the 10 minute drive to the hospital was 10 hours.
"I hope we're not keeping her waiting too long." I grumbled under my breath.
"She'll be ok Jess. When we pick her up she'll be staying with us I promise 5 minutes won't kill you." Rolling my eyes at him I caught sight of Taylor as we pulled up.

Jumping from the truck I carefully wrapped my arm around her back and kisses her gently.
"Hey. How you feeling?" I smiled at her brightly happy to have her in my arms again.
"Great now that you're here." Her bright smile shinned causing me to grin from ear to ear.
"Come on." I ankles cheerfully. "Let's get you back to the house."

Sliding into the back seat with Taylor I wrapped my arm round her carefully pulling her into mine.
"It's great that you're feeling better." I smiled at her.
I'm so glad everything is better between us.
