Alyssa's Dad: Come on, Alyssa! I'll meet you in the car!
Alyssa: *dressed in cap and gown* I'm coming!
Me: Look at you, ready to graduate!
Alyssa: Crazy, isn't it? You'll be rooting for me, won't you?
Me: Course I will! See you at the school, Alyssa!
Alyssa: See ya! *leaves with her father*
Alyssa's Mom: When my husband gets back, we'll get ready to go to the school. Alyssa has last minute rehearsal! We have to make it to the auditorium, by 6 pm!
Me: Okay. It's currently 4:30. That will give Alyssa and her classmates, a whole hour to rehearse.
Alyssa's Mom: That's right. *sighs* My baby girl is gonna graduate. I'm so proud of her. I do remember, when she was quite the rebel, when she first started Sandburg Private Academy, back in 2016. But, she finally matured. She doesn't go in the Isolation Room, anymore.
Me: Exactly. Warm day, today.
Alyssa's Mom: It is! Could get a little rain, later and tomorrow. What do you expect? It's the Pacific Northwest!
Me: *chuckles* Yup!
Alyssa's Mom: *chuckles*
