Gauri's POV:

I changed in the back of the car...Om being a decent human being wasn't looking soon I was in his oversized clothes and sat next to him in the front.

Om: never thought that my clothes would be so big on you.

Me: yes you did...you're like 8 foot something inches.

Om laughed as he started to drive.

Om: actually I am not 8 foot something inches. I am 6''4.

Me: still taller than me.

Om: and what are you? 4''4?

Me: haha I'm not that short...I'm 5''2.

Om: still short in case you didn't know that.

I rolled my eyes and we just kept silent for most of the ride until I noticed that we were nearing my house.

Me: oh shit! Om, didn't you say that you would give me an excuse to tell my mum?

Om: oh yeah I did! That's why I wasn't talking because I was thinking of an excuse.

Me: have you got any excuse?

Om: yes I have actually. Just tell your mum that some stupid immature kid got water balloons and made everyone get their uniforms wet.

Me: that's the best excuse you could come up with?

Om: yes or you can tell your mum that you decided to ditch detention with me to go to the beach and that you fell so now your clothes have sand on them.

I gasped. Did this guy forget that he was the one who made me ditch detention with him? I technically didn't even have a say if I wanted to ditch or not. Also did this guy forget that my mum didn't even know that I had detention? If she found out I had detention, I wouldn't hear the end of her lectures.

Om: why did you gasp?

Me: in case you've forgotten, I didn't have a choice for ditching. You made me because you are my ride home.

Om rolled his eyes as he continued driving and my house was soon in sight.

Om: so you gonna use my excuse or not?

He asked me this as he stopped at my house. I thought for a minute....well I tried to when Om decided to speak again.

Om: or you can tell your mum that you had detention and ditched it. I know if I told my parents about my detentions and ditching stories, they would kill me. Your mum would most likely give you a lecture right?

I nodded. Even though my mum wouldn't kill me, she was the queen at giving lectures to her kids.

Me: fine I will use your stupid excuse.

Om: stupid? That excuse is amazing.

Me: someone is a bit full of himself.

Om: I am not!

I was about to speak when Om's phone pinged. He looked at his phone then looked at me.

Om: mum texted me to come home so I guess we can continue this conversation tomorrow.

Me: fine. Have a good evening.

Om: you too.

I went out of the car, getting my bad and started to walk but before I could go up to the front door, I heard his voice again: just wanted to tell you, keep my clothes I'm not gonna miss them and also don't wear a short skirt tomorrow.

Me: ok fine, by the way I thought you already went.

Om: I'll leave when you're in the house.

Sighing, I went into the house and just as I was about to close it, I could see Om getting ready to drive. Once I closed the door, I looked at the front window to see Om driving off. It was actually sweet of him to wait for me to go in...it was also sweet of him to give me his clothes to wear, uff these clothes smelt of him...they smelt like ocean breeze.
