Lauren walked into the school and saw Brad walking her way with a angry look on his face he must be pissed from me leaving him the other day Lauren thought bracing herself for Brads anger
"What the hell Lauren!" Brad growled at Lauren as she rolls her eyes
"I missed football practice because of you" Brad scowled
"Hey! It's not my fault you got into a fight and got detention!" Lauren stuck up for herself Brad knowing Lauren was right and not wanting to admit it he got more angry
"You probably snuck off to hang out with Luis!" Brad knew how Lauren and Luis (one of his football buddies) used to date they're still pretty close and he hated it
"Dude chill out!" Camila came out of no where like Lauren's knight in shining armor pushing Brad away from her since Brad first walked up to Lauren he got way to close for comfort
"Get out of this Camila it has nothing to do with you!" Brad bellowed as he took a step towards Lauren Camila jumped in front of said girl blocking her from Brads view due to her height
"Actually it does she brought me home" Camila responded in a calm voice which was unnerving for Brad
"Of course!" Brad laughed Camila took a step forward making Brad step backwards
"What does that mean" Camila growled in a low voice Brad gulped
"Whatever man!" Brad scoffed turning on his heels stomping off
Camila's hard features softens once she turned to look at Lauren
"Does he get like that often?" Camila asked leading the way to their math class that they happened to have together
"Recently yes you know he used to rarely ever get mad" Lauren says playing with her fingers
"I find that hard to believe" Camila scoffed rolling her eyes
"Wouldn't you know if he got angry often?" Lauren asked Camila said girl thought of all the times Brad used to get angry with her and it was often he must have calmed down a bit with Lauren
"Trust me he'll go back to his angry ways" Camila said as she stood off to the side so Lauren could walk into their math class first
Once Lauren sat down Camila leaned on her desk smiling at her a genuine smile not a smirk or grin and Lauren loved it more than she should
"Are you down to come to my soccer practice after school today?" Camila asked Lauren was unsure when she used to go to Brad's football practices it was boring
"I don't kno-" Lauren was cut off from Camila leaning forward and putting her finger on her lips to shush her
"It won't be boring I promise" Camila smirk came back on to her face
"Sure" Lauren shrugged her shoulders right at that moment the teacher walked into the room telling everyone to sit down in their seats
Camila was right her soccer practice wasn't boring it was actually kinda fun with Camila falling multiple times due to her clumsiness and forcing her to come down from the bleachers to play with her teammates a added bonus was seeing Camila running around in her jersey all sweaty for some reason Lauren found it really hot
"Did you have fun?" Camila asked as she ran her fingers through her wet hair due to her just getting out of the shower a couple of minutes prior
"Surprisingly yeah" Lauren chuckled making her way to her car with Camila on her side
"Well I'm glad" Camila walked up to Lauren's red Jeep and opened the passenger door throwing her sports bag to where her feet will be she got in without putting her seat belt around her while she slammed the door behind her which made Lauren cringe
"You really had to slam it?" Lauren asked as she got in and started the car
"Yes" Camila chuckled Lauren smiled as she backed up out of the parking lot
Once Lauren pulled up into her drive way Camila was grabbing her bag Lauren really wanted to spend time with the girl she was the only thing keeping her happy from what happened earlier in the day
"Want to come up and watch a movie?" Camila froze from opening the car door once she heard Lauren's question
"I mean if you're parents are fine with it" Camila turned and looked at Lauren
"They love when I have friends over so don't worry" Lauren waved her off turning her Jeep off and getting out Camila meeting her on her porch
"We're friends now?" Camila asked as Lauren opened her door
"I- I mean if you're fine with that" Lauren stuttered turning and looking at Camila
"Sure I Guess" Lauren smiles at Camila answer and walked into the house telling Camila to close the front door behind her before leading her up the stairs
"Those are my siblings rooms" Lauren pointed at two doors across from one another
"You have siblings?" Camila asked as Lauren leads her into the last door on the right across from a bathroom Camila assumed
"Yeah there's Chris who is a freshman and there's Taylor who's in eighth grade what about you?" Lauren asked taking her shoes off and setting them down by her door she sat on her bed after bringing Netflix up on her TV
"Yeah I have a little sister she's five and her name's Sofie" Camila explains setting her bag down next to Lauren's bed and taking her shoes off putting them by Lauren's
"What do you want to watch?" Lauren asked as Camila sat next to her
"Have you ever watched Lilo And Stich?" Camila asked
"Nope" Lauren shook her head and laughed as she sees Camila looking at her like she has three heads
"What! It's only the best Disney movie ever hand me the remote" Camila stuck out her hand and smiled once she had the remote looking up Lilo And Stich and putting it on
Camila sat crisscrossed and got comfortable Lauren sat there with her legs dangling off the bed
