Nora... dead?

Nora almost dies during a fight with Cicada and Barry assumes the worst

Barry and Iris were on a date since luckily there was no crime in Central City. Nora was at home, chilling, watching tv, when she hears a door slam open. She turned to see that it was Cicada, knife in hand, ready to kill her. Nora went to her phone to press the button to alert she was in trouble, but Cicada sliced her.

She screamed in pain and tried to bare it, but it was really hard. She heard his breathing get closer and closer, until he was right over her. "You, and your father, have destroyed my family. So now, it's time to destroy yours." Nora somehow ended up kicking him off of her and she ran. She had no idea where she was running, she just ran. She was hoping that Cisco would find a location on her and get her dad to get her, but so far, she was out of luck.

Meanwhile, Barry and Iris were enjoying a fantastic meal, when they saw the news.

XS runs away? The hero XS is seen running across town, why is she leaving?

Barry knew something wasn't right. Nora wouldn't just up and leave like that. So the couple paid and left the restaurant, ran home, not even caring if someone saw them. They ran inside their house to see blood on the floor. Something happened. Barry checked everywhere, shouting for Nora, nothing. Iris was panicking and calling Cisco, Ralph, Caitlin, Sherloque, no one saw Nora.

"Iris! Nora was attacked. We need to find her." They ran to STAR Labs and met with the team to find Nora. Luckily, the device Cisco made tracks everyone so he could see where Nora is. "She's in the forest where I almost died. She's hiding. Find her Barry." Cisco said.

Barry got his Flash suit and took off. He got there and he saw Nora nowhere. He wanted to shout for Nora but he was scared it would trigger Cicada. He heard Darth Vader breathing and saw Cicada, and he found Nora.

"Well, isn't it XS." "Please, I didn't even do anything!" It broke Barry's heart to see Nora begging. "Your dad destroyed many families, now I'm going to destroy his." "NOO!" Barry didn't even realize that was him screaming. Barry ran toward Cicada as fast as he could, but somehow, Cicada was faster. He stabbed Nora in the stomach and took off.

Barry caught Nora in his arms and started shaking her. She was out cold. "Nora! Nora please!" Barry was on the verge of tears. Barry ran Nora to STAR Labs and he set her on the medical bed. Caitlin told Barry to leave the room and will get him when they were done working on Nora.

Barry sat in the time vault, thinking. What if they never went on that date? Would Nora be ok? He heard the vault open and Iris walked in. She sat down next to Barry and sighed. "Babe?" Barry turned toward Iris. "What?" "Nora's not looking very well. They had to resurrect her two times." Iris said choking up.

Barry felt broken. When he heard that come out of Iris's mouth, his world came crashing down. He wants his daughter to be ok. But she might not. "Nora! Stay with us Nora!" Barry sped out of the Time Vault and into the medical room.

He sees Cisco giving Nora cpr and Caitlin charging the paddles. "Clear!" It shocked Nora up. Nothing. "Change it to full power." Barry was watching with tears in his eyes, two of his best friends trying to resurrect his daughter. "This is painful to watch Barr." He looked at his wife, he didn't even know she was there.

"Clear!" His focus was immediately back on the scene in the other room. He sees his daughter go up, then down. Finally, he sees Caitlin and Cisco visibly relax. Nora must be fine, right? He couldn't see the monitor near the bedside so he didn't know.

Caitlin turns around and sees Barry and Iris looking worried for their daughter. She waved them back and they came in. "How is she?" Caitlin sighed. "We got her to stay alive, but she's in a coma. She might wake up soon, but I'm sure she'll be fine. I'll keep monitoring her progress." She explained and walked out of the room, Cisco following her.

Barry and Iris take a seat next to the bed. The only thing that told them Nora was alive was the steady beeping of the monitor she's hooked up to. Iris sighed. "I'm going to get food, want any?" Barry shook his head. They shared a kiss and Iris left the room. Now it's just Barry and Nora.

"Nora, sweetie I'm so sorry I wasn't there. If we didn't go out, you would be fine. Please wake up soon, your mom and I can't handle this worry." He kissed the top of her head and held her hand.

Iris came back with some coffee, and she handed one to Barry, but he declined.

"Barry, you need to have something! Nora wouldn't want this."

Barry took a glance at Iris, but he couldn't see anything due to his tears. "Iris, I appreciate your concern. But I'm fine."

Iris scoffed. "Fine? Barry, you're beating yourself up over this! You're basically killing yourself!"

"JUST LIKE I ALMOST KILLED NORA?!"

Nora heard the screaming and groaned. She already had a headache, and now her parents are screaming at each other?

"Can you guys please scream somewhere else? My head hurts." She whispered.

The couple turned their heads toward Nora and laughed relieved. They all gathered for a hug, thankful their daughter was alright.

Wow, I think I wrote this when I was 15 and never finished- I did just now and I know you guys have been asking for updates. Well, my final day of exams are tomorrow and then summer! So I'll definitely be updating more then. See ya!
