A Changed Life with Shoto Todoroki

Chapter 25: Tasty Food

I wake up to my phone ringing. Hmm? Who's calling me? I looked and noticed it was Todoroki.

"Mmm, hello?" I said.

"Hey, I'm outside your door. Get ready and come out. We're going to the beach," Todoroki said. I pull my blanket over my head.

"No..." I responded. "Just five more minutes,"

"I'll buy you food," he says. I get up quickly and rush to get ready. Todoroki hears all the crazy sounds through his phone. "Hello? Are you okay?" 

"I'm fine!" I shouted quickly shoving everything into a bag and coming out ending the call. 

"Well that was fast," he says. "You must really enjoy food,"

I nod and hold his hand walking out to the beach. We find chairs with shades and take a seat. 

"Give me a really big sundae," I said to him. He blinks looking at me.

"Don't you think it's a little too much?" he asks.

"I wanted something really sweet," I claimed. He nods and walks off. I look out at the water.

"Whoa!" Kirishima says riding the waves. 

"I'M GONNA WIN!" Bakugo shouts.

"Surf's up!" Denki says. 

I watched them surf then look and watch some of the other classmates play volleyball. The teachers were relaxing in beach chairs as well. I watched as Hawks is surrounded by his fans. I watch as males drool over Midnight. Those two are real eye candy. 

"Hey, I got your sundae," Todoroki says placing the big glass bowl on the table in between our chairs.

"Thanks, Todoroki," I said taking the spoon and tasting it. Todoroki watches me eat the tower of the sundae. I take a piece of the ice cream and put it to his lips. He opens his mouth and tastes it.

"It's delicious," he says smiling. 

"What did you get?" I asked. He shows me his plate of soba. "Of course you got soba," 

"It's classic and delicious," he claims. We look ahead and watch everyone enjoy the water while we eat. 

"Well well," a voice says. We look to our left and see Monoma. "If it isn't the two love birds,"

Todoroki and I look at each other than ignore him to continue eating.

"Hey! Don't ignore me!" Monoma says. Todoroki freezes his mouth shut.

"Mm! Mmm! Mmmm! MMM!!!!" Monoma tries to say a word. I laugh as Monoma rushes to the water and wash off the ice. 

"Let's go," Todoroki says grabbing my hand and running away. I ran with him while carrying my bag. 

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. He looks back at me and smiles.

"To a quiet place for us," he responds and looks back. He took us to a food shack and we both sat down across from each other. He takes my hands and kisses my knuckles. 

"Your skin was always soft," he says. 

"I-I..." I stuttered flushed. I looked at his hands and noticed he was wearing the ring. I smiled. "Our classmates might mistake our rings as an engagement," 

"Let them think what they want," he said. He placed my hands on his cheeks and smiles. "You should focus on me,"

"I like...your face," I said.

"My face? How so?" he asks.

"Your eyes are beautiful. Along with your different colored hair," I touched his scar. "I love that scar of yours too,"

"But it's ugly," he says. I push his cheeks inwards to puff them.

"They're not! I like it on you. It's really cute. You're also very handsome, Todoroki,"

I look down at his shirtless body. His well-muscled arms were amazing to stare at also. I scan his thick (thicc) arms and lower them back onto his body with his built-up abs. It was mouth-watering.

"Um, you having fun there?" Todoroki asks. I snap out and look back at him.

"I wasn't doing anything!" I said.

"Well you sure were staring," he said.

"I was just doing some research for...stuff," I said. Todoroki looks over my shoulder.

"How bothersome," he says. I look over my shoulder and noticed Endeavor was walking over here along with Hawks. We let go of our hands quickly.

"Hey~! You two enjoying the fun trip?" Hawks asks. I nod and look at Endeavor staring at me. 

"Shoto," he says. Todoroki glares.

"What?" he asks.

"You sure you want to keep dating this gi-"

"Mind your own business," Todoroki snaps back.

"Shoto, I will show you that she's not what she is," he says. Todoroki stands up annoyed and drags me away to another place.

"What an annoying old man," Todoroki says. He takes us back to our beach resort. There wasn't anyone around since our whole class was having fun at the beach. He lets go of my arm and looks down. "I'm sorry,"

"It's alright, I understand. I do wonder how he is going to expose me," I said. I give him a tight hug as he gives me a squeeze. "Let's just stay in the pool,"

He doesn't let go.

"Noriko, have you forgotten?" he asks.

"What?" I questioned.

"You have to wait a bit before entering the pool since we just ate," he said. 

"Oh, right!" I replied. "You smell so good..."

"You also smell pretty good," he gives me a kiss.

"Be careful, someone could take pictures of us," I said. "Don't let your guard down," I repeated. He smiles and nods taking us to the couch to watch some television.
