Chapter 14

1 month timeskip

NESSA'S POV:

Ethan is now 1 month old. Josh has been staying at my apartment with me. Patrick has come over everyday to see Ethan and Chase comes over twice a week because of meetings. Josh and I were in the living room watching Full House when I heared a cry from the baby monitor. I literally sprinted up the stairs to the nursery. when I got there Ethan was crying. I picked him up and his forehead was burning.

"Josh" I yelled and he came pretty quickly

"h-he's burning up" I said. Josh had gotten the thermometer and his temperature said 103.

AN- so for weather ima use celsius and for temperature ima use fahrenheit

"Josh what's happening" I cried

"babe I need you to calm down he's gonna be okay" Josh said giving me a hug

"you want me to call Griff" he asked. I nodded had I rocked Ethan in my arms.

"hey Griff" Josh said

"hey man whats up" Griffin asked

"Ethan's burning up and Ness is freaking out, is there anything we can do" Josh asked

"am I on speaker" Griffin asked

"yeah" Josh said

"k Nessa, run a bath cold or warm doesn't matter. if he's having trouble breathing put vix on his feet then put socks on" Griffin said

"ok great thank you" I said

"no problem if anything else happens take him to the doctor" he said

"ay thanks man" Josh said

"no problem bye" Griffin said

"aight bye" Josh said. Josh gave him a bath which was nice. after the bath he changed him into a onesie. Josh had put Ethan back to bed and set up the baby monitor.

"go to sleep" Josh said to me while he was putting mugs away

"no" I said

"bubba you gotta sleep. you never do" Josh said. I mean he's not lying

"but Ethan's sick and what if something happens" I said

"nothing will happen please just take a nap" Josh said

"k" I said. I went upstairs and took a nap. I took a 2 hour nap. I checked my phone and I had a bunch of messages from Patrick.

I walked down stairs and there was a knock on the door. I opened it at Patrick was there

"hey patty" I said giving im a hug

"hello Nessa fancy seeing you here" he said

"yeah pretty weird" I joked

"how's Ethan feeling" he asked

"ok I guess" Patrick and I went up to the nursery

"hey bubba uncle Patrick is here" I said picking him up.

Patrick and Josh helped me take care of Ethan and the 4 or rather 3 of us watched movies
