Emily's POV

My eyes flutter open.
A blonde girl stands in front of me.
She forces a smile.
"Hello, Emily."
I slowly smile back.
"Hello. Who are you?"
The girl gives a small sigh.
"You don't remember?"
I shrug. "No. Remember what?"

The girl bites her lip.
"Me. My name is Sophie Foster.
You are my cousin. Emily Huxley."
I smile.
"If that's so, then why don't I remember it?"
Sophie sniffs and wipes a tear from her eye.
"You were in a terrible accident.
It about killed you.
With all of the severe trauma, you must have lost your memories.
I'm sure you'll get them back though.
In time."

I look down at myself.
"I don't see anything wrong with me."
I say in puzzlement.
"Well you were sedated until you healed up. Physic thought it best."

I yawn.
"And who is Physic?"
"That would be me."
Says a voice from the corner of the room.
She wears a white coat and has tiny little braids filling her dark hair.
"Livvy."
I murmur, as little flashbacks come to me.
Livvy, smiling happily at me when I pulled my first tooth. Livvy giving me a exilar when I scraped my knee falling out of a tree. Livvy freaking out when the ice cracked under me and I fell into the icy water of the lake.

I smile warmly at Livvy.
Sophie and Livvy glance at each other and Sophie gives a small nod.
I wonder what that was about.
"Are you feeling up for company?"
Livvy asks.
I nod.
She goes to the door and opens it.
A strawberry blonde haired boy rushes in, along with two chocolate brown haired teens with teal eyes.
"Emily! Are you okay? How do you feel?"
The strawberry blonde boy asks with concern.
A name comes to my mind.
Dexter Dizznee.
"I feel fine, Dex."
I say. His eyes fill with relief.

I look at the teal eyed boy.
Fitzroy Vacker.
I chuckle at his crazy messy hair, that has pink sparkles glittered all through it.
"Fitzypoo, what happened to your hair?"
Fitz frowns.
"Somebody put glitter in my shampoo."
The brown haired girl, Biana Vacker, smirks and try's to look innocent.
I smirk right along with her.
I dont know why, but it just feels like something I would do.

Sophie's POV

I watch Emily smile and talk to her "friends". I give a mental sigh.
The fake memories worked.
I transmit to Mr Forkle.
I practically hear his sigh of relief.
Good. Just to be safe though, we better not let her meet Mr Tam or Miss Redek yet.
He transmits back.

Okay.

As the days go by, Mr Forkle quietly feeds more and more fake memories into Emily's brain. Every day I worry somebody is gonna slip and she's gonna figure out it's all a lie.
But so far it's all gone well.
Keefe for some reason has been absent, but that might be just because of the "kiss".
Oh, Keefe.
I mentally sigh and roll my eyes.
I'm sure he'll back soon though.

Emily's POV (A few days later)

"Hey, Em." I glance up to see a blonde boy stride into the room.
He looks nervous.
It's Keefe.
Keefe Sencen.
With his big Ice blue eyes, and perfectly mussed blonde hair.
Last time I remember seeing Keefe, was right before the accident.
We had a fight.
He was mad at me.
I was mad at him.

"Oh. Hi Keefe."
I say, carefully avoiding those beautiful, but piercing eyes.
"How are you feeling?"
He asks after a tense moment.
"I'm good. I mean I'm feeling good."
I blush slightly and look down awkwardly.
Ugh, why does he have to be so darn cute.
He must sense my embarrassment because he smirks.
I want to kick something.

"Well, " he fakes a cough and runs a hand through his hair. "That's good."
We are quickly running out of things to say, and I realize if I don't end this soon it's gonna become awkward.
Pfft like this isn't already awkward.
