CHAPTER 14

Crystal Pov

"C-crystal..?" The man infront of me said and i just stood there motionless, not knowing what to do, my eyes wide and glossy, mouth agape, i just stared into the pair of grey eyes

I stared as his eyes filled up with water,

"...dad..?" my voice cracked as i said that, i still cannot believe that my dad was standing there, right infront of me, he stepped a bit closer to me

He engulfed me into a warm hug, i cannot help but hug back, i finally had a family.. i wasn't able to control anymore as my tears started flowing from my eyes and i sobbed on his shoulder, i can tell that he was crying too, as i could feel him sniffing softly

"My daughter.." he said and hugged me tighter, caressing my head, after few more seconds we pulled apart, i sniffed softly wiping my eyes with my sleeve, as he did the same

"We have a lot to talk and tell, why don't you and" he peeped behind me "your friends come inside..?" He asked but he seemed unsure..

"S-sure.." i said and i looked back, they were just standing there not knowing what to do, i gestured them to come inside and they slowly did, when we came inside i told us to sit down, there wasn't anything but some cushions so we just sat on the floor and he joined us as well, sitting beside me

"How come you found me? And do you mind introducing yourselves?" He  asked looking at me and then the others when yeonjun started

"One of the agent of K.I.A. saw you on the street of xyz, as he was about to approach you, you dissappeard out of the sight, and as our boss- mr.lee hyun heard this news he sent us to find you, sir. And i'm Choi Yeonjun, Agent Yj04." He said as he intruduced himself, dad nodded lightly while humming

"I am Kang Taehyun, Agent Th03." He introduced himself

"I'm Park Jimin, Agent J02." He said while bowing his head lightly

"I see.. so, all of you are from K.I.A.. crystal, you too?" He asked and i nodded my head

"Agent C01" after hearing this he smiled lightly

"I'm proud of you" he said and i smiled lightly

"Er-sir?" Jimin said and dad hummed in reply "we're supposed to take you back to the agency.." he said to him to which dad nodded

"I wanted to come back too, but i didn't had enough money.." he said while looking down, i felt bad for him knowing that he had to live here like this for like 10 years

"Guys, we should take sir back to our hotel, and ofcourse we should tell mr. Lee hyun about our mission success, right?" Taehyun asked looking at all of us, we looked at each other and nodded our head

"Come on, dad, let's go" he smiled and nodded his head as all of us got out of that hut, we were making our way towards the car, when suddenly jimin spoke

"I'm driving the car this time, give me the keys black" he said and took out his hands for the keys

"Oh hell nah, you're gonna mess up left and right side and we will end up getting a ticket for driving at the wrong side." I said to him,

"Huh! Me? I'm clearly the better driver" he said in a mocking tone while looking at me, to which i scoffed

"Says the one who almost killed us on the way of airport" i said raising an eyebrow, he didn't see that coming, he huffed and walked ahead of us, and i just smirked

"Are they always like that?" I heard dad asking yeonjun and taehyun from behind, i looked back to see the two of them nodding their head

"You'll get used to them, sir" taehyun said and soon enough we reached our car, opened the door to the driver's seat and got in while dad got in passenger's seat, i saw jimin from the centre mirror looking like a kid

"You know park, you look like a kid that didn't got the candy he wanted" i said making all of them laugh jimin glared at me and i just smirked and switch on the car and drove back to the hotel

After reaching the hotel we went to my and jimin's room, when we entered taehyun took out his laptop and set it at the table, then he video called our boss, after a few rings he picked it up

"Do you guys have any update?" He asked us looking anticipated, and we nodded our head

"We.. found him." I said and he looked happy and relieved, a smile broke out on his face but he quickly straighten himself trying to look serious, he cleared his throat

"Okay, great work guys, uh, i'll book a flight for to catch tomorrow afternoon. And crystal, hope you're happy.." he said and i smiled and nodded looking over at dad who didn't wanted to see his old friend in some computer screen, but wanted to wait till they get there

"Okay then, have a great day, take care." He said  and hung up the call, and taehyun put away the laptop and sat down at the couch beside me

"Dad..?" I said and he hummed and looked at me

"How come were you able to recognize me so easily, after not seeing me for like  10 years?" I asked to which he smiled lightly

"You had same eyes as me, and i remembered a little 3 year old crystal running around, your face just matured  up a bit.." he smiled while telling me, his voice a bit raspy

"Guys, we should go.." yeonjun said signalling jimin and taehyun, to which they nodded and stood up bowing to dad and went out

After they went out dad got up and made his way towards me and he sat down on the couch beside me

"You know, there wasn't a day that went by without me missing you, or your mom.." he said looking at his fingers

"Speaking of which, how is she?" He asked looking at me, and it was my turn to look down

"I don't know.. i don't even remember her properly.." i said and he looked confused

"What do you mean?" He asked forrowing his eyebrows, and i sighed and started to tell him everything, how those people adopted me from the orphanage, how they treated me, how lee hyun sir found me and took me away from all that, at the end of it he was smiling lightly

"Lee hyun was always a nice friend to me, i knew i could always trust him.." he said looking at me i smiled lightly, dad yawned and there was a knock on the door

"Come in." I said loud enough and jimin opened the door and entered

"They, kicked me out saying they are going to sleep.." he said and scratched the back of his neck, i laughed throwing  my head back, and dad chuckled lightly as well before he yawned again

"Dad, why don't you go and sleep there at the bed?" I said and he looked at me with sleepy eyes

"What about you and... jimin?" He asked but i told him we'll manage he looked too sleepy to reply so he nodded and went to sleep, jimin looked at me and made his way to the couch beside me

"Let's just sleep here.." he said and sat down i knew we didn't had any other choice so i nodded and made myself comfortable with a pillow on top of back support of the couch and a thin blanket, jimin did the same and just like that we fell asleep, me feeling more good even with the uncomfortable position, i slept with a small smile in my face knowing that now i had my dad on my side..
