CHAPTER 20

Few days later..

Crystal Pov

Today we were called in for an emergency meeting, and from the tone of our boss it's very important. So right now we were heading towards the meeting room, when we reached there we knocked on the door and headed in after hearing a "come in" from the other side

"Ah! Thank god you guys came quick enough! He's on the move, the mafia, which i told y'all about at the beginning is on the move!" Mr. Lee hyun said as soon as we entered, oh no.. i have seen that mafia's reports, he is really big..

"He's planning an attack, tonight.. you will be going there tonight, the other cops will come after you, but with some time gap so it wouldn't be suspicious." He said to us, while we were looking up to the screen projector to see the locations and some informations about that mafia and his people,

All pf us nod our heads slowly.
For a good half an hour our boss kept telling us about them and the plan on which we're gonna work on, after that he allowed us to go

Time skip
At 8:00 pm

It was almost the time of our action, we stood at the ground floor's corridor, checking our equipments and everything
It was time to go, so we went inside our car and yeonjun drove us to the destination

When we reached our destination we got out and looked around

"Are we gonna split up like always?" Jimin whispered to us

"No no, we won't take a chance, we'll go together" yeonjun said, we nodded and took out our guns, just in case..

And just like that we went inside the building, quietly and slowly making our way further in..

We were looking around for some time now but couldn't find anything till now

"What should we do?" Taehyun asked as all of us came to a halt at a middle of somewhere in the building

"Maybe we should look around more closely?" I suggested them, yeonjun sighed but nodded and so did others, and just like that we looked around a bit more

We were inside some kimd of room right now but we couldn't see, the room was pitch black, suddenly i heard grunting i looked around, squinting in the darkness, the gruntings grew more, like there were more than 1 person, my eyes just started to adjust to the darkness when there was a pair of arms that held my hands, stopping them from moving, then another hand came pressing hard against my mouth, i struggled to free myself, but the hands who were holding me back, tied my hands behind my back, and threw me off to a corner, my back hit the wall, but my head didn't instead it landed on what i assumed was someone's lap, i couldn't make up the person's face properly, but then the light turned on, blinding me, as i closed my eyes from the sudden brightness, after i adjusted, i looked around, it was a medium sized room with two light bulbs, opposite to each other

I looked at the corner adjacent to where i was, jimin and yeonjun were there, both of their hands and legs tied up, they were glaring at some people, who ofcourse were the people of mafia, i looked up from the position i was in, i saw taehyun's face, he was looking down at me, my eyes widen and i quickly got up in a sitting position with some help from taehyun as my hands were behind my back

"Tsk tsk tsk tsk.. poor little children.." i heard someone say, i looked up only to see the mafia leader, my eyes darken as i glared at him,

"Aww~ look, the little girl is trying to scare us" the main mafia said, mocking me

"Who the heck are you to call me a little girl!?" I shouted at him as i saw his eyes darken

"Let's go. We'll think what we can do with these children." He said and gestured his other minions to follow. He went out as his minions followed behind him. They locked the door on their way out as we could hear the clinking if lock and keys.

When they left all of us looked at each other

"What should we do now?" Jimin asked from the other corner, he kept his voice low incase someone was outside

No one answered, we clearly had no idea of what to do

"What about we search the room and try to find something so that we can cut off the ropes?" I suggested them, but in reply i just heard a hiss

"And how are we supposed to do that black? We cannot stand up!" Jimin raised his voice but only slightly, still keeping it low. But he is right, we cannot stand up.. as both our hands and legs are tied up.. i just looked down cause i don't have anything to say

"That's what i thought" jimin snapped at me, i just huffed and rested back with the support of wall, none of us said anything for a long time

"Ah!" The silence was broken by yeonjun's voice

"What happened to you?" Taehyun whisper-shouted at him while leaning forward

"I lost balance while turning and landed on something sharp which cut my palm, only a bit tho." He said as i saw him regaining his balance and sitting up straight, just then i got an idea

"Yeonjun!" He looked at me "use that object to cut the ropes!" I whisper-shouted to him, and almost immediately i heard shuffling and grunting as yeonjun reached for the object and started to cut the ropes that tied his hands

Few minutes passed, yeonjun was still struggling

"Yes!" Came yeonjun's voice all of ours head turned with the speed of light towards him

"I did it" he said and quickly started to cut the ropes that tied his legs, after a while he was able to cut them as well

"Yeonjun, quick, free us as well" jimin said impatiently

"Yes yes i'm coming" yeonjun started cutting through the ropes that tied jimin's hands and legs

Soon enough all of us were free from the ropes and stood at a corner, we were thinking of a plan because we needed to catch them, but we don't have any of our equipments

"What should we do?" Taehyun asked, no one said anything, too busy to think of a plan

"I don't know, but we have to be quick" i said to him, i bit my bottom lip in frustration out of my habit

'Clink clank' came the sound of locks and keys.
