CHAPTER 22

Starry Pov

After some time, a doctor came out from taehyun's room, taehyun's parents immediately stood up

"How is my son?" Taehyun's mother asked the doctor in a panicked way

"Don't worry, he is alright, once he is moved to a normal room you can see him and he should wake in some time, excuse me" the doctor told them, his parents sighed sighed in relief and thanked the doctor, as taehyun was getting rolled out of the operation room, the doctor inside yeonjun's room came out, informing his parents that he is alright and out of danger

After some more time jimin's doctor came out as well

"You don't have to worry, he is out of danger, it might take him a bit of time to wake up, but he should be awake soon." Said the doctor, jimin's parents thanked him and followed as jimin's bed got rolled out to the normal room where the other two were.

Jimin's pov

I opened my eyes slowly, i couldn't see properly as my eyes were blurred, but i could see three figures standing and looking down at me, i blinked a couple of times to clear my vision, i saw mom and dad, both of them had red eyes, and i could tell why..

"M-mom.. dad.." i called out for them weakly, i didn't had much energy in me

"Yes, jimin, we're here" mom said and held my left hand in hers as dad came close, keeping a hand on mom's shoulder, i looked to the left side, and saw none other than ....sam, standing there, silent tears flowing continously from he eyes, i blinked my eyes a few times to make sure that it wasn't an illusion

"Sam..?" i called out she immediately burst out sobbing

"I am sorry jimin-ie.. i am so sorry, i shouldn't have doubted you like that.. please forgive me! I'm sorry for breaking up with you, i love you so much, please forgive me.." she said looking down and sniffling lightly, tears were still coming out of her eyes, i smiled lightly at her

"How did you got to know?" I asked her, she looked up, and wiped a few tears

"Your boss, lee hyun called me saying that you're a secret agent.. and that-that.. you got shot.." i was kind of shocked, because sir was the one who told us not to tell anyone else but your parents.

"It's okay.. you didn't knew.. i forgive you.." i smiled lightly looking at her, she smiled back as she wiped a few tears.

I looked behind her to see yeonjun on the bed, laying down but awake, talking to his parents, soobin was also there he kept sniffling as he held yeonjun's hand and i can tell that he cried from his red eyes, yeonjun was smiling as he talked to soobin, his parents on the opposite side of his bed. I looked at my right, behind my parents to see taehyun a bit far from me, he too was talking lightly, but he seemed rest less, he kept looking at the door, and that's when i noticed that crystal still isn't here, i couldn't help but worry about my teammate. I sighed and looked at sam smiling..

Starry Pov

Lee hyun was still waiting outside crystal's operation room, waiting for someone to come out, just then a doctor came out, lee hyun immediately went to him

"How is she?" He aksed the doctor, who just sighed and looked down

"She is out of danger.. but, the thing is the bullet was really close to her chest, she was lucky it wasn't her chest, and because of which.. we don't know when she'll be awake.. but she'll be moved to the normal room with her teammates, and we will observe her.." the doctor said and lee hyun couldn't say anything, what was he supposed to answer when sirius reached here and asked for his daughter.. but anyway he thanked the doctor and watched as crystal's bed got rolled out, he followed behind quietly, head hung low

He went inside the room where others were, all of them seemed to become attentive as she was rolled in, taehyun seemed the most worried out of them, seeing that crystal was still not awake, taehyun looked at his boss, wanting answers who took a deep breath

"The bullet was really close to her chest.. the doctor don't know when she will wake up.." lee hyun said, all of them looked sad, even the others parents. But taehyun had tears in his eyes, he was taking help from his left hand to get up slightly, but he fell back as soon as he heard that, it was like his hand lost energy

"Is she the girl about who you told us?" Asked taehyun's dad, to which he replied with a nod, his eyes still closed, his parents looked at their son with sad eyes and then crystal, who their son was talking about endlessly whenever they called.

Taehyun's mother just caressed her son's head.

"Only one for every patient can be here as all of them needs rest." A nurse said coming inside of the room

"I'll be here for yeonjun" soobin said as he thought that yeonjun's parents might need some rest, they just nodded and bid their son goodbye making their way out of the room.

Jimin's mom decided to wait for him, and taehyun's dad waited

"I'll be here for crystal.." sam said looking at her best friend sadly, regretting every rude thing she said to her

When everything was settled down, the lights were switched off and everyone had fell asleep, except for one, taehyun. He couldn't sleep, he was constantly looking at crystal's body, laying on the bed her eyes closed, slow shallow breaths going in from the oxygen mask, even like this, she looked beautiful in taehyun's eyes, he just sighed and closed his eyes..
