Association with words always confused me,
When you hear the word 'cravings' what do you see??
I could bet it's totally different from me, I guarantee,

Do you see the man getting that burger he longed for?,
Or that child eating and longing for more?,
That hungry newborn letting our a belly filled roar?,

My cravings are something that extend past nutrient,
Something I longed for quite frequent,
What would've made a perfect childhood was this last ingredient,

My craving extended to the love I needed feel,
Things no others knew I needed to heal,
Emotional touches I needed to know was real,

I needed so many things, but got so little,
I needed other than the depressed man filled with evil,
I needed that movie candid relationship, is that so criminal?

I wanted the cheers from the stands at my games,
I wanted the wall filled with picture frames,
I wanted the man the took away my pains,

I crave and I crave but they'll never be satiated,
I've realized that my cravings have run outdated,
I've lacked a true daddy and my life will forever be tainted
