𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐒
𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑷𝑻𝑬𝑹 𝑺𝑰𝑿The cream rug was now looking more like a tie dyed pink rug and Willow couldn't bare to look at it any longer. She had been staring at it ever since ben had left the house fifteen minutes ago. The man that she had loved had left without so much of a fight.
Willow was disappointed and heartbroken. She understood that her father was scary and intimidating but ben had left her without so much as a goodbye.
Hurt and confused, Willow headed up to her bedroom where she changed out of her uncomfortable dress and into a shorts and t-shirt pyjama duo. The brunette girl hadn't eaten dinner since her boyfriend was kicked out of the house before they even made it to the dinner table but any appetite that she did have was now gone.
As Willow laid on her bed and let the silent tears roll down her face, she heard a constant tapping sound coming from her window. At first, the brunette girl decided to ignore it, thinking that it would just be some stupid bird but as the noise persisted, Willow decided that it must have been something more. Just as Willow got up from her bed to have a look outside, the tapping stopped but still, the girl was curious and she might as well have a look since she was already up.
Walking across the carpeted floor, Willow reached her window and just about jumped out of her skin when she saw Ben Chilwell staring at her from her second story window.
"Please let me in. I don't know how much longer I can hold on." Ben squeaked out, wishing nothing more than to be in the warm house that he had been kicked out of no more than twenty minutes ago.
Willow smiled at her boyfriend, despite the fact that she was supposed to be mad at him. He had taken a risk for her and that was something that she greatly appreciated.
The brunette girl slid her window open and helped her boyfriend into her bedroom, telling him to be quiet so that her parents didn't hear him since ben was not known to be light on his feet.
"Why did you just leave like that? Am I not worth fighting for?" Willow asked abruptly, catching Ben by surprise. Is that really what she thought?
"You think this is all over? Baby, you have it so wrong." The footballer shook his head and let a chuckle fall from his lips. This was all far from over for Ben Chilwell.
"I want to be with you, Ben. I really do but it's not that simple." Willow admitted to her boyfriend. She cursed her parents for ever putting her in a situation like the one that she was in now. She knew that when she had kids, she would never dictate who her kids married.
Ben couldn't give up on Willow Hargreaves. He loved her and at twenty three years old, he thought that he should be able to be with whoever he wanted, especially when his girlfriend was only a year younger than him and should be able to do whatever she wants. Which is why he asked,
"Why can't you just forget what your father says?" The taller boy stepped towards Willow and she sighed.
"Like I said, it's not that simple but I'm trying to find a way." Willow took a seat on the edge of her bed and Ben followed her, wrapping a strong arm over her shoulders and pulling her in to his side.
"What's the plan?" He questioned, his hand absentmindedly rubbing the exposed skin on her arms.
"No idea but I'm working on it. I'll make sure to keep postponing the wedding whenever we need more time." The smaller girl spoke, the thought of marrying a stranger and not Ben made her feel physically sick. Willow wasn't sure if she would marry Ben since they had never actually spoken about marriage but at the moment, he was who she wanted to marry.
Just as Ben was about to open his mouth to speak, he was cut off by the sound of Willow's phone buzzing rather aggressively.
"You going to get that?" Ben teased his girlfriend with a smile and his brunette girlfriend gave him a sheepish look, feeling guilty that her phone had ruined their moment.
When Willow looked at her lit up phone screen, she was surprised at who had text her and what they had said.
"It's Brandon. He wants to meet so that we can talk." The brunette girl looked up to her boyfriend so that she could try and figure out what he was thinking.
"Let's go. Who knows, he might be like you and doesn't want to get married." Ben was really hoping that this Brandon guy that Willow was engaged to would be sympathetic of their situation otherwise things would get a whole lot messier.
"Who wouldn't want to marry me? I'm an absolute catch!" Willow protested at the thought. She didn't want to marry Brandon, not because she didn't think that he was a bad guy but because she had Ben. Willow didn't know anything about her fiancé's situation though.
"It's beyond me. I know that you're a catch but hopefully he doesn't. I can't have him sweeping you off your feet, can I?" The defender laughed, knowing that he was completely safe. Willow wouldn't change her mind about him because she loved him but also because Willow was the type of girl to try and go against her parents. She wasn't normally rebellious but her marriage to Brandon was something that she definitely did not want.
"Thank you." Willow smiled, pecking her boyfriend on the lips before helping him out of the window and following behind him.
Willow was currently living like a teenager. She was sneaking out of her bedroom window with her boyfriend to meet her fiancé in hopes that he had the answer to stopping their marriage.
