It's been a little while since Sir Nighteye died, and you and your class were starting to plan out the concert for the U.A school festival. Aside from that, there was something that bothered you. You noticed that Tamaki was hanging out with another girl.. (not Nejire) it's not that you were jealous or anything.. right? Why would you be? Was it that you had a crush on him? Well maybe you did, no, actually, at this point, you were sure you did. She had long blonde hair with bangs and ocean blue eyes. You think her name was.. Kumiko Urisaka? She was definitely beautiful, way out of your league. You think that she's from class 3-C. While your class was discussing what they wanted to do for the school festival, you hid your face in your hair, trying your best to make it not bother you. "Maybe she's just a friend?- no, it can't be.. right?" You were completely distracted in these thoughts, until Ashido came up to you. She noticed you were down.

"Hey (y/n), is everything alright?" She looked down at you with a worried face. "You're usually happy, you haven't been acting like the (y/n) I know."

"..I'll tell you when we get out of class, Mina. I don't feel like talking right now, I'm sorry." You hoped you didn't sound rude or anything.

"Oh, alright then."

Mina came running up to you, still thinking about what could be wrong after class. What a good friend she was, always looking out for you and making sure you were okay.

"(Y/n), do you think you could tell me now?.. Please?.. I'm getting worried but.. sorry if I'm bothering you." She still had that worried look.

"Mina, listen, I.."

"What is it?"

"I..I- I like A-Ama.. I like Amajiki!"

She was surprised. "..why would you be sad then?"

"He's been hanging out with another girl, I think it's Urisaka. He probably likes her, because they're actually the same age. He probably sees me as a little sister.." your eyes were watering. You were a year younger than Tamaki, not like you weren't aware of it all this time.

Mina frowned. "Hey, don't think that! You never know, right?- just because you're a year younger doesn't mean you don't have a chance!" She crossed her arms. That caught Nejire's attention, which caused her to run towards you guys.

"Hey, what's going on, girls?" She was always so happy. Mina's eyes lit up.

"Well, someone here is jealous~" she giggled. That made you a little flustered, because you were sure you were most definitely not jealous. Well, maybe just a little bit.

"H-HEY!" You shouted. "N-no I'm n-not! I'm not jealous!" You looked away and crossed your arms like a Tsundere.

"Oooh, whose the special guy~?" Hado was teasing you, which made you even more irritated. Mina kept chiming in.

"Heheh, she told me it was Amajiki. Don't lie, (y/n)."
Mina smirked at you. Nejire lit up.

"W-wait really?! Eee-!! I'm so happy! Ship!!" Both her and Mina were giggling now. Your face turned red. "But wait, why are you jealous?"

"Okay, okay, fine. I admit I like Amajiki, but.. I think he likes Urisaka, and not me.. I don't think I stand a chance, anyway. He probably sees me as a little sister." Nejire knew what was happening, but she didn't say anything about it.

"As Amajiki's best friend, I don't think so!.." she said.

"Yeah, yeah.. well, I'll get going. It was nice talking to you guys." You turned away and walked fast, wiping your tears along the way so no one could tell. You hid your face in your jacket and left to your dorm. You cried in there so no one would see you. The day was over anyway, which meant you didn't have any classes left. You decided to go to bed early and get some rest, before someone texted you.
"Ugh, what is it now..?" You thought. You checked your phone in curiosity. It was from Mirio.

M: Hey, (y/n).. is everything okay? Nejire told me you were down. I just wanted to check up on you, You're usually happy..

Y/N: ..Nejire didn't tell you..? I thought she would've..

M: no, she told me to check up with you first to make sure it was okay.

Y/N: if I tell you, do you promise not to tell anyone?-

M: of course!

Y/N: well, I like Amajiki. Like.. I like-like him. More than just a friend. And I'm scared he likes Urisaka, they've been hanging out a lot. I don't know what to do.

M: don't worry about it, I'm sure everything is okay! After what I've seen, I don't think anything will happen between them.

Y/N: are you sure..? What do you mean?

M: it's nothing, you'll see.
