*5 months later*

Having passed my due date by six days, I was no longer enjoying being pregnant. Everything I did hurt; laying down hurt, walking around hurt, sitting down hurt. I almost couldn't stand being in my own body anymore, but I kept on telling myself that I was only going to last a few days longer, at the most, because then our daughter would be here, and everything would be perfect! Due to the pelvic pains, my doctor had ordered me to stay on bed rest, which meant Justin had been coming home earlier more frequently. He made sure I had everything I needed, and the only time I could only leave the bed was when I had to go to the bathroom to pee or shower. Having Justin at home improved my mood because he made sure I always had something to do while lying in bed because he knew I liked to keep myself busy. Before marrying Justin, I was used to working a lot, and I loved working, so now not being able to do that got my panties in a twist.

Today, however, I decided that enough was enough. I could not possibly stay in bed for one minute longer, so I convinced Justin to take me out to brunch and then do some last-minute shopping for our daughter. Even though everything was ready for her arrival, I still felt like she did not have enough stuff. I think it is typical behavior for a new mommy, and deep down I knew she had more than plenty enough. Waking up at 9 am, I decided to get out of bed before Justin woke up and changed his mind about taking me out for brunch. Even though I was not feeling the best, I knew I had to get out of the house before I went insane. Throughout my shower, I kept getting these sharp pains through my lower abdomen, but I convinced myself it was just Braxton hicks' contractions since I had had them regularly throughout my second and third trimester. Getting out of the shower, another Braxton hicks hit me, so I grabbed the countertop and squeezed it tightly to try and make it pass quicker. As the hick was passing, Justin came walking into the bedroom rubbing his eyes, and when he finally opened them, he saw me standing over the countertop in pain. "Are you okay, baby?" he asked while hurrying over to be by my side. I smiled and him and nodded my head when the pain finally stopped. "It was just a Braxton Hicks, nothing to worry about," I told him, then I gently pecked his lips and left the room to go get dressed. Luckily, the weather wasn't too hot today, but it was still hot enough to wear a cute dress, so I got dressed in a red dress with wrap-details to give good room to my enormous belly. I went back into the bathroom to do my hair and makeup, but after drying my hair and putting it up in a bun, I suddenly didn't feel like putting on any makeup. After getting pregnant, my skin had never been better. Mother and told me it was because of the glow you get when being pregnant, and if that was the case, then I wanted to be pregnant all the time because I had always suffered from acne.

"You look beautiful, Y/N" Justin smiled while getting out of the shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist and came closer to me. "You think so?" I asked him while looking at him through the mirror. "Are you kidding? You're always beautiful!" he replied while wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. Justin gently lifted my belly with his hands, and the feeling of not having to carry it around for a minute caused me to let out a moan. "That feels so good," I mumbled while leaning into his body. Justin chuckled and placed a kiss on my cheek. "I guess we'll just have to walk around like this until you give birth then," he chuckled. My eyes rolled to the back of my head while I kept nodding eagerly. Unfortunately, the feeling only lasted a minute or two when I suddenly got another Braxton hicks. "Are you sure these aren't real contractions? They look painful," Justin asked concernedly. I nodded my head and bit down on my lip. "I've had them before. It's the same feeling," I told him. Justin skeptically nodded his head, then he gently let go of my belly and went to get ready. "Why don't you go lie down until I'm done getting ready, and then we'll leave?" Justin asked while sticking his head into the bathroom again. I nodded and walked over to him. Standing up was really exhausting! Not even 10 minutes later, Justin was finished getting ready. I groaned when he sat down beside me and wished he had taken a little longer. "Why are you already ready?" I asked him while opening my eyes to look at him with a scowl. Justin chuckled, then he got up and reached out for me to grab his hands so he could help me up. Justin helped me walk down the stairs, and it felt like forever since I had last been downstairs. To my surprise, the whole house was completely clean, not a single thing out of place. "Are you sure you don't want to stay home today? You look to be in so much pain," Justin said while putting on his shoes. "I can't be home any longer, one more minute, and I might go insane," I told him with a laugh. Justin laughed too, then he finished tying his laces and looked up at me. "Why aren't you putting on your shoes?" he asked. I sighed and looked down to see a pair of sneakers in front of me, then I looked back at Justin and shook my head. "I can't put them on myself, will you help me?" I asked him, quite embarrassed. Justin smiled widely, then he moved towards me and helped me put on the shoes. Justin grabbed my hand as we made our way outside, where an unknown car was parked. "Whose car is this?" I asked him as I walked over to it. "It's ours," he replied while unlocking the car. "I realized that driving a sportscar with a baby might not be the best idea, so I called your dad and asked him to help me find the perfect car for our family, and that's when we found his one," he continued. I smiled at his kind gesture because the thought had hit me; his former car wasn't exactly the ideal car for a baby, but then again, I knew how much he loved it, so it also broke my heart that he had to get rid of it. "Are you sure you're fine driving in a car like this from now on? I know how much you loved your car," I asked him with concern. Justin nodded his head and helped me into the car. "That car was a part of my old life, now I'm married to a gorgeous girl, and we're having a baby together, can you believe that?" he explained. Before leaving my side, I pulled him inside the car and placed a sloppy kiss on his lips. "I love you," I told him, which made him smile widely. Justin closed the door, then he hurried to the other side and got in himself. "I love you, too, Mrs. Bieber," he then said while turning on the engine.
