STEPHEN DIDN'T EXPECT HOW FUNNY it would be to meet Genevieve's new friends until he invited them to stay in his home. The four of them had been sleeping in the living room, Genevieve not wanting to leave her friends on the floor while she slept in a bed. He wondered how his daughter was always so kind with the people she cared for, he admired it really.

He had already enjoyed everything of these holidays, seeing his daughter happy was the most important, and she truly seemed for the first time in a while. With the problems she had faced as a young girl she had really come out of her shell with these boys. He had expressed his thanks to them multiple times before explaining, with consent off Genevieve, some of the hardships she faced as young child.

He woke up early on the morning of Christmas, his daughter's favourite holiday. Creeping his way around the house as quietly as possible. Peeking into the living room, he noticed his daughter sprawled out on a double air bed, Sirius to the left of her in a similar position. He stifled a laugh at James' odd position of half-hanging off the couch. Remus was the only one that seemed to sleep normally, on his back with an open book lay on his chest.

Shaking his head, he made his way into the kitchen. The smile remained on his face as he prepared breakfast for the four sleeping kids.

Genevieve only ever woke up early on one occasion. Christmas. Shooting up with a start on the air bed in the living room, the smile on her face instantly formed as she remembered the day. Noticing only Remus had awoken as early as her, she waved to catch his attention.

He smiled. "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas." She replied kindly, carefully standing from the shared air bed not trying to wake Sirius.

"You know you didn't have to sleep on the air bed. You've could've stayed in your room, we wouldn't have minded." Remus pointed out to her.

Genevieve shook her head. "I woul'nae wan' yer lo' sleepin' on the floor an' the couch while I'm in a be' proper comfy. An' it's fun." Remus smiled kindly.

"So what are we to do about them?" He signalled to the boys.

Genevieve mischievous grin appeared. "Le's ge' ma Da." She replied. Remus followed her into the kitchen, sitting himself at the breakfast bar. "Mornin' Da, Merry Christmas."

"Good morning, Stephen. Merry Christmas." Remus said kindly.

Looking over his shoulder at the pair. "Mornin' yer two an' Merry Christmas, the other lads still knocked?" He asked them, earning a nod. "Well we cannae be havin' tha' now can we?" He grinned to his daughter.

"I'll get the bucke'." She stood.

Remus' head spun in the direction of the girl. "I'm sorry, bucket?" He followed.
