The cast! I know everyone loves to make a cast list for their story. Making it all aesthetic-like. Which is great! Making a cast for your story is so much fun. Here are some tipsⅠ
▬ Age. Make your cast be around the age of your characters. We don't want a 30-
year-old playing a high school student. Having your face claim be around the same age as your character is 100% the way to go. Casting same-age actors/ actresses will make it seem more believable. Since the reader will always think of that face claim while they read the storyⅡ
▬Diversity. I have seen a lot of times when there is a cast it lacks diversity. Not everyone has blond and blue eyes. Add diversity when you are thinking of your characters. Representation is amazing and we need more of that. But don't add diversity for diversity's sake. Don't add a token poc character.Ⅲ
▬ It's okay if you have a hard time with a face claim. I have trouble all the time finding the right one. It's good to have a description in mind. When trying to find a face claim try and think of any recent shows you have watched and search up the cast. There are many actors/ actresses out thereⅣ
▬Try and avoid common face claims. You want your character to be unique. So try and stay away from the popular face claims. I'm sure you know some of the more popular and if you don't a quick google search will help.Avoid these as you can. Try and stray away from the more popular face claims and find one that feels like your character
