It should not be very long. It should be filled with some basic information. Just a general gist of the story You don't want to spoil anything about your story before your readers even start to read it.
Basic checklist of what should be in it: -basis of what the plot is about -attention grabber -an intro to the main character (if more than one introduce it as a group) -the line should leave you wanting to know more
