I still remember the day I got a call informing me that I had been accepted into medical school. I could not believe that a whole me was finally beginning my journey to being a doctor. Growing up I didn't know what I wanted to be when I was older. One day I would say teacher, the following I would say engineer or lawyer. When I was 15 I realised that I wanted to be a doctor. I started working hard so that I would get good grades and be accepted into medical school. Being accepted into medical school meant so much for me. I could already picture myself running around the hospital wearing a white coat with a stethoscope around my neck. I was really disappointed when I learnt learnt that it would a be a while before I get to my clinical years. But that isn't too important because I'm already a doctor in training.
