You KNOW you've been waiting for this. Honestly, if you tell me you didn't feel the ｌｏｖｅ in this movie at all you are definitely lying. 

Let's again talk about this scene because I feel like we don't talk about this enough.

 First of all, Chuuya said that he believes in Dazai, but in reality, there's no guarantee that he lived. The same thing goes for Dazai--no guarantee that Chuuya would risk everything and come for him. Plus, once Chuuya uses corruption, he can't control himself at all. They believed in each other.

But Chuuya said he doesn't care, despite Ango's warning. Although he kept saying that he wanted Dazai dead, deep down he knew it wasn't true.

He's basically willing to die with Dazai, but still making up the excuse "I need to give him a smack" to cover up the fact that he wants to save him.

Risking his life to save the city he loves...and the person he loves. It's hard to find another explanation.

I just noticed this scene: Chuuya's ability was attempting to leave him(?) (See the red crystal at his chest.) It wasn't in my subtitles, but you could clearly distinguish the word he's yelling DAAAZZZAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIII in this scene. Though half-conscious, the thought in his mind was Dazai (Video above, about 2:42)

And of course, Dazai predicted everything and gently touched Chuuya's cheek to nullify his ability. Why his face out of all places you say? According to lovepanky.com, a touch to the face usually means that someone is trying to convey love in a nonverbal way. Most people would also say that if someone likes you, they might touch your face. (~￣³￣)~

If you have to contradict me, you can say that his face was the easiest place for Dazai to touch depending on their position. You could still get away with that. However, there's this line:

Ah, yes. A whole new door to a million possibilities of Snow White fanfictions and fanart. Of course, you could still get away by telling me that he's just joking. 

I consider he's serious because of the flashback revealed at the beginning of the movie, where Dazai admittedly told Odasaku that he thinks Snow White may have eaten the apple willingly. In this case, he planned to be poisoned and waited for Chuuya to go save him. ᴰᵃᵐⁿ, ᶜʰᵘᵘʸᵃ ˢʰᵒᵘˡᵈ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵏᶦˢˢᵉᵈ ʰᶦᵐ ᶦⁿˢᵗᵉᵃᵈ ⁽ᵒᵒᵖˢ⁾
