Y/n P.O.V

I was already back in the cave, it's becoming my second home.

Today I brought with me something special for the new guy Bam.

"Ta-da!" I exclaimed, opening the box I had brought with me after jumping into the entrance of the cave. Trying to avoid the rock pile that was still there, not as big, but could definitely break more than my fall.

You know the usual.

Like my ribs, arms, writs legs, even organs, just the stuff I need to continue living.

Fast forward to a couple of hours of showing him the present I brought.

"A, b, c, e, f, g... and z." Damn, he catches on to fast.

I just brought some simple teaching stuff, you know grade 1 or something stuff.

I hoped it would keep us busy for a couple of days. And besides, I don't think he learned anything in a cave.

But genius Einstein over here killed it all in a matter of hours.

He went from not being able to talk, to now be able to say simple things. Just from copying what I said.

And did it like on the first try without any troubles!

Like what the heck is this unfairness!

Back in my days, school was so much harder. Teachers yelling at you to stop being stupid and whatnot.

I guess this guy is older so his brain is developed, which would make it much less impressive, but.

This guy, I'm pretty sure he's been locked in this cave his whole life, like Rapunzel. So that means he had no stimulation to learn or take things in. Meaning...

He's like a stupid genius, even more than before.

That's a really unfair life, where are those kinds of gifts for me, huh?

Where are they, cuz all I got was a lousy life and-

"Y/n!"

"What Bam?"

"Thank you!" He said, smiling really cutely.

God damn stupid life, he evens has a cute nice smile. I look like a mouldy potato when I smile.

This. Is. Not. Fair!

"Oh, did you learn something new?"

"Yes, it says people say thank you when they appreciate someone. It shows an example of someone doing something nice."

"That's correct, and then you use your manners to say 'you're welcome'."

"But what does appreciate, and manners mean?"

He's already into the stuff of like the 6th grade. Just an hour ago I gave him a small booklet, meant for 3rd graders and now he's going into synonyms and stuff.

Why you do this to me life? And now you're just rubbing it into my face!

Rude!

I swear tomorrow I'll have to teach him high school things, then he'll surpass me.

I haven't even finished it yet- I can't.

The student has surpassed the master in under two days.

If that isn't a record-breaking thing, I don't know what is.
