I know that d3 already showed us a canon version of the proposal but I just couldn't help but write this one 😉 and yes this is a soon update but I found it cute...but you know whatever

Mal sighed and looked to her boyfriend, giving his hand a squeeze and his eyes a smile. "I wish it could always be like this." She told him looking back to the stars. "Just you, me, and the stars. No royal duties or meetings to attend just two teens in love...."
It was just as amazing as the purple-haired girl had worded it. The couple sat on the castle's roof—a safe place of course—and looked to the stars. After all, the lovers' Star was to reveal itself after twenty years and fall its ray onto another couple. She deep down prayed it to her she and Ben...
"So do I, every night," Ben responded wrapping his arm around Mal's waist. "And it can be, maybe not in the day but at night. I promise."
"Don't make promises like that, you can't keep them," Mal told the young king.
"I can though." Ben stood. "It can happen in only one question,"
Mal's heart skipped a beat. Was he...was he going to ask her to marry him? Or worse, was he going to break up with her! Well marrying him wouldn't be a bad thing, although being Queen would be stressful and definitely would seem like she was abandoning the Isle. That wouldn't look good what so ever. Argh! Now she's rambling to herself. What a mess you've become...
"105 is the number that comes to my head
When I think of all the years I wanna be with you" Mal heard Ben sing.
What's up with him and singing to get a point across? It's like he's in a movie or something.
"Wake up every morning with you in my bed
That's precisely what I plan to do And you know one of these days when I get my money right" Ben grabbed her hand.
"Be careful!" She blurted as the two stood.
"Buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life Will forever be enough, so there ain't no need to rush But one day, I won't be able to ask you loud enough" He went on one knee.
Beat beat beat beat
"I'll say will you marry me I swear that I will mean it I'll say will you marry me How many girls in the world can make me feel like this?
Baby I don't ever plan to find out The more I look, the more I find the reasons why You're the love of my life" he stood again and took Mal to a more flatter area.
"You know one of these days when I get my money right Buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life Will forever be enough, so there ain't no need to rush
But one day, I won't be able to ask you loud enough I'll say will you marry me" He grand her waist and lifted her into the air. "I swear that I will mean it I'll say will you marry me And if I lost everything In my heart it means nothing 'Cause I have you, girl I have you So get right down on bended knee Nothing else would ever be Better, better The day when I say I'll say will you marry me I swear that I will mean it" He sat Mal down and pulled her close.
"I'll say will you marry me I'll say will you marry me I swear that I will mean it I'll say will you marry me" He sang, his lips close to hers.
"Ooh whoa ooh oh Ooh whoa ooh oh Ooh whoa ooh oh Would you marry me baby" He parted and slowly bowed on one knee.
"105 is the number that comes to my head
When I think of all the years I wanna be with you Wake up every morning with you in my bed That's precisely what I plan to do.."
"Mal Bertha, will make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He asked her now holding an expensive looking ring in a red velvet box.
Mal was speechless. Her hands covered her mouth, hiding the widest grin she'd ever smile. Her absence of words made him nervous, the put together nicely dressed man was now sweating and messing with his shirt's tie. Before he could panic further, Mal nodded and gave him her hand. "Yes! Yes, a million times over yes!"
Ben's face lit up and he rose, sliding the ring unto her pale finger. "Oh, Ben! I love you!" Mal continues; jumping into his arms.
"I love you too," Ben held her close to him. He placed a kiss on her soft purple hair and hummed, "I love you more then you'll ever know.."
Mal smuggled into his chest, hiding her blush. She was nowhere near fancy enough to be wearing such a ring. She was dressed in a simple long-sleeved black top and jean shorts. Not a dress or even fancy jumpsuit. Heck, her hair was barely brushed. "Next time you ask me something that important tell me to wear something nice. I look like trash," she mumbled against his skin.
"Why would I do that? I'm marring Mal Bertha not Lady in Waiting Mal. But my Mal, the one I fell in love with all those years ago." Ben responded.
"I would say that too but you're dressed fairly nicely," Mal answered moving her head to face him. She gave him a spell peck on the lips. "Mr. Always Wearing a Blue Tux."
Ben gently hit her back. "That's rude. I'll take that ring back right now."
"No, you won't." Mal pulled away from his embrace. "Not if you can't catch me!"
Mal moved quickly—using a few tricks she'd learned on the isle—to the balcony of Ben's bedroom. She knew Ben wouldn't be as fast her not as agile, so the former isle kid took glances behind her to see how well he was fairing. To her surprise, he was doing quite well. In fact, he was close to her.
"Surprised?" She heard Ben's voice ask.
"Nope!" Mal called back to him jumping down onto the balcony.
Mal couldn't help but notice the Lovers Star was about to glide over Auradon at any moment. "Ben! It's the Star!"
As if magic, Ben was beside her faster then you can "bippity boppity boo". But when the Star passed it didn't choose them as it's the rightful owner of the beam, but instead some people walking from a grey building down below. When Mal looked at Ben's face she saw utter disappointment. "It may have not chosen us but compatibility has no rain over love, because," Mal intertwined their hands and held them up so Ben saw the gesture. "Love is the most powerful source of magic there ever will be. You taught me that, remember?"
  Ben smile. "I do."
"Then don't get disappointed. Hurts the ego," Mal spoke gesturing to her ring.
"My apologies, your highness." Ben kissed her pinky and then gave her a smile. "Would you be my guest to finish this watching the stars who watch the Hollywood stars?"
