I thought this pun was intelligent. I was wrong.
Okay I know I was tired but I was 99.9% sure Will had fallen asleep in my cabin, so why wasn't he there when I woke up? I woke up at 8am too. It was early.
But I didn't think much of it. I slipped on some jeans and a sweatshirt and walked to breakfast.
Will wasn't at our table either. He was talking to Piper. What the fudge? "Hi." I walked up to him.
He jumped. "Hi, Sunshine."
"What's wrong? Don't tell me nothing."
"Just talking. Piper um what do you think?"
"I think you're right. I ship it." She said, waving her fist.
"Okay. Do we tell them we know?"
"Get Nico to tell them."
"Nico doesn't know."
"Well then you should tell him."
"Guys, I'm right here. Tell me what?"
Will looked at me, took a shaky breath, and spoke. "Reyna and Rebecca kissed."
I choked. "What?"
"Last night. I was walking to my cabin and I saw them. You know Reyna best. I think you should tell her."
"How many other people know?"
"As far as I know, just us three. I think they wanted to keep it a secret because of Reyna's position."
"And you want me to tell her this? I want to live!"
"Well I wouldn't feel right keeping it from her."
"Then you tell her!"
"She'd kill me!"
"I'm not telling Reyna!"
"Not telling Reyna what?" Her brown eyes bore into mine. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL. "What's up?"
"Um..."
"I saw you last night." Will looked terrified, but he kept talking. "With Rebecca."
She was white as a sheet. "I-"
"Why didn't you tell us? We're happy for you!"
"What?"
"You thought your gay friends would not approve of a homosexual couple? Gods, I ship it!"
Rebecca walked over. "Hi. Did I hear homosexual couple?"
"They know." Reyna said, smiling, actually.
"Are you okay with it?"
"Yes."
"Good."
They decided to keep it a secret. So naturally, the entire camp found out. I'd never seen Reyna happier. The six were spending the month here as part of the exchange program, but it was a much needed vacation for all of them.
Okay so that wraps up this short little chappie. Someone actually guessed this so I apologize but I couldn't give it away. Sorry.
