Chapter Four

Hailey

"Mommy, can we take a break? My feet hurt" Taylor tugging her arm and dragging her slowly to the nearby bench

The moment she sits down, Taylor letting out a loud yawn. He's been running around all day long so it was expected and it's also already nightfall

Thomas approaching them while holding two glasses of coke, He cast a glance at him "Tired little guy?" Taylor just nod

Hailey looked at her son of course he feels tired he has spent all day jumping and running around

"Do you want to go home, honey?" She asks rubbing her son cheek with her fingers

"Yes!! I think Mr. Dino also tired momma" He said while rubbing his eyes

Hailey smile at him and take his hand "Okay, let's go find a cab" Thomas quickly look at her

"Hailey waits, I can drive you two home...There's no need to call a cab" Thomas frowning at her

"It's ok Tom you had to go to New York right? It's 3 hours ride from here and it's already late and you just come back from your trip this morning, you must be tired" She tried to reasons with him

"Nonsense, I will drop you two first, and besides look at Taylor, he already sleepy" He adds when he sees Hailey giving him the look to argue

"Well, what do you say Taylor?" Thomas look at her son

"He can go to our house, momma" Taylor said to her with a smile

"Okay" Hailey smile at him "Are you sure-" Hailey is about to ask him again when Tom glare at her

"Please Hails, just get in the car already" He rolled his eyes

After a long two hours ride, they finally come to their apartment building "Do you want to come in?" Hailey offering him, she can't just send him home after he kindly drove her and Taylor

"Sure, besides I have to talk to you about something" He walks into her apartment he then put sleeping Taylor in his bed and tuck him in

Hailey bit her lower lip, she had a hunch about the things he wants to talk to

Hailey's apartment was in medium size it's not too big not too small and yet it was clean and cozy. It was a three-bedroom apartment, one room belongs to Hailey, one is Taylor and the other one was being Hailey study room along with Taylor playroom

After he found out about her years ago, once in a month Thomas will come and visited her and Taylor, that's why Taylor already used to see him around from a young age and he also already think of him as his own nephew

"I'm going to make some coffee, do you want some?" She offered Thomas and he nod as he sits on one of the couch in the living room even though she has a five years old son, her apartment always clean and tidy

A clean environment can calm her down whenever she had a bad day so she always making sure to clean up her apartment every night after she went home from work so the next morning she awakes her apartment is already cleaned

"I know what you want to talk about, I had a gut feeling about it" Hailey start the conversation after she sits down with a coffee in her hand on the opposite couch from the one Thomas has been sitting on

"Yes, I want to talk about Daniel and Stacy wedding" He replied

Hailey sigh "What do you want to talk about? Yes, I'm invited but I'm not sure I want to come and to be honest, I'm surprised they found out my new email address. I thought they never find a way to contact me again" She stirs her spoon while drinking her coffee
