My deepest works and my darkest works

Both stays hidden in the realm of words

While others read theirs out loud

I make lighter works to hideaway.

Words in a book

Written with brokenness

But will never see the light

Due to their heartfulness

I don't share my deepest and darkest works

For they are too deep in my heart to give away

The words I write down, the words I can never speak out loud

Not to another person

Not to another soul

Not to another.

The pain my heart spill out into words

Turns them into poetry

Poetry to never be read by others

Because in the end

Some works are meant to be seen

While others remain hidden in the books.
