World population day: 11th July
Even though the name is self explanatory, their might be questions coming in our head, why a day is dedicated to population? What's the use? Etcetera etcetera.
So, I am here to answer some of them.

The primary aim of this initiative is to increase awareness about reproductive health problems among the people. This is due to the fact that a large number of pregnant women succumb to poor reproductive health. This day aims at spreading awareness about the exploding world population and the importance of reproductive health. Population is and is supposed to be one of the leading concerns of countries like India and China.

Currently, the global population is over 7.7 billion among which more than 1 billion people reside in India, the second-most populous country in the world. The numbers are scary and what's more stressful is that India is estimated to surpass China as the world's most populous country by 2050, says the World Population Data Sheet 2019.

Increasing population has it's impact all around us, from unemployment to poverty. Most of the social problems are due to an uncontrollable rise in population or poor family planning.

In countries like ours it is believed:
More people to work => More hands => More money

With time, our government is taking initiative to spread awareness about family planning programs like 'hum do, hamare do' with the belief that with increase in education and awareness, people will work to make world a better place to live.
