I stopped panicking and looked at my surroundings. There were security towers to my left and right. There were fences surrounding the perimeter of the property. Im assuming the people in the tower are trying to keep me from leaving, so i walked in the opposite direction. I walked toward a hill and started to climb it. From the top of it i could see the house. Ok, cool. Now i know my way home, i just need to find the two children i lost. Great. As i walked along the edge of the forest toward the house, i started to call joshua and lucys name. I screamed thier name so many times. All i got in return was silence. I wasnt going to give up,  no matter how tired i am. I messed up real bad. I told myself that since my parents died, i would take care of him. Thats what my parents would have wanted. I walked past a small pond when i started hearing my name being called. "AMY! AMY? AMY!" the voice said. I did'nt recognize it, though. I ran toward the voice and realised it was coming from the house. Mom was standing in the window. "AMY GET OVER HERE!" she yelled. As i walked toward the house, i saw joshua and lucy behind mom. They made it back home. Now that i think about it, they werent as far from the house as me. I shoud've checked there first. I cant believe i spent almost an hour looking for people that werent lost. Mom already had her belt in her hand. I knew what was comimg. I climbed up the rope again. When i was inside, mom said " what were you doing outside?!?! Havent you learned anything" she said. "In my defence, i havent been outside in over 3 days! We needed sunlight!" I yelled back. "We? What do you mean WE? i cant believe you would blame lucy and joshua!!" She said. My face went from angry to confused. She didnt know that they went outside. She probably came shortly after thay made it in. "Nothing. I just meant that we all need sunlight and excersize. I did'nt tell them i was going outside, so they couldnt stop me." I said. I tried to make it sound like they had nothing to do with being outside. Maybe that way they wouldnt get in as much trouble. "I told you not to leave and you disobeyed me!" She yelled in my face. "You cant stop me! I can leave if i want!!" I yelled back harder. Before i could yell something else, my face started stinging. She slapped me. She freaking slapped me. She hit me so hard that i barely realised i was on the floor. I was'nt going to let her do that to me. Im a lot smaller than her, but i can still throw a punch. I aimed for her arm instead of her face. I wanted to get her on the floor so we can run, not to kill her. I raised my fist, ready to puch. It was like time slowed down. I closed my eyes, i didnt really want to see her fall. But before i could throw the puch, her fist was closed around mine. She actually blocked a puch. She grabbed my hand and twisted it behind my back. I winced at the pain. She put me on the bed, facing the ceiling. I felt the cold belt buckle hit my stomach and thighs over and over. By the eith hit i couldnt feel the pain. I felt numb. The last thing i heard before  i blacked out was a girls voice i didnt recognise.
