You were amazed once you entered inside. The lavender-blue walls mixed with tinges of dark blue made the entire place shine in a unique way. The light from outside was enough to lit up the entire hallway giving it warm and cosy feel overall.

"Princess, I ask if you would like to have lunch," Woojin said squeezing your hand a little snapping you out of your mind. You blushed feeling rather embarrassed that you became distracted.

"Ah sorry, your place is really lovely." You said still looking around. Prince Woojin couldn't help but chuckle, it was adorable to him. Your face became red again, at least it wasn't awkward.

"Thank you, we should see the training area after this." He said as the both of you entered the dining room.

"Ah! Your army is the second greatest in the entire country after my kingdom! I heard you lead it!" You said excitement shining in your eyes. You always admired swordsman seeing how fast and elegant they are in battle. Of course not as great as assassins but you were not allowed to see that.

"Yes, I do lead it. It took me years to claimed that position though. They don't go easy on me even when I am the prince." He said chuckling. Both of you arrived at the table as he pulled a chair letting you sit down before going to sit at his own. "I hope you like chicken."

After a lovely lunch, the two went to the back of the palace. As you both got nearer, you could hear shouts and metal and wood clanging against each other. The guards open the door as the afternoon light shine brightly causing you to cover your eyes with your palm facing the light.

It took you a while to adjust but when you opened, you look with amazement at the sight in front of you. A field filled with target practices, knights of both genders either having a mock battle or just training their strengths. The field was surrounded by bushes and trees making it very compact but big at the same time.

"Wow, this place is amazing. Except for the smell." You commented covering your nose from the smell of sweat and body odour.

"My apologies, I got used to the smell I forgot it even exits..." Woojin said letting out an awkward chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.

You were about to say something but screamed when something passed you swiftly. Your heartbeat a million times, you immediately fell on your knees in shock not even caring of the cleanliness of your dress. Woojin bends down and held both of your shoulders rubbing it in a reassuring way.

"Princess! Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?" He asked with an extremely concerned look on his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. J-Just a little shaken up." You replied failing to hide the fact that 'little' was an underestimate. You placed your hand on Woojin's arm as a support as you tried to stand up with him helping you. Fortunately, you found your balanced and just smiled it off.

"Oh shit, is that the princess? My bad..." A tall man said running towards both of you with a guilty look. Woojin rolled his eyes when you weren't looking. "This is honestly not like you to miss the target, Sir Lucas," Woojin said glaring at the man in front of him. Lucas shrugs not giving much of a shit.

"Maybe I purposely miss. Maybe I'm rusty. We will never know." He said wrapping his arm around the prince's shoulder. The prince, on the other hand, did not seem pleased at all.

"Please get off and apologise to the princess properly..." He said taking Lucas arm off him. Lucas stuck his tongue out and walked to you.

"Apologies for my action. I didn't mean for an arrow to come at you or I least I think..." He said bowing. The prince showed an annoyed face when he said that.

"Ah, it's fine. Everyone makes mistakes..." You said waving your hands. Something was on your mind ever since Lucas came and you couldn't help but felt the need to ask. "Actually, may I know your relationship with the prince? You guys seem awfully close."

"He was my mentor and the previous head guard," Woojin replied with a sigh. You looked surprised as he seemed very young in your eyes.

"What happened?" You asked. You doubt he retired out of age, he could definitely last for a decade or more. "Poor me got a leg injury," Lucas said placing his arm on your shoulder lifting his left leg which was wrapped in bandages.

"Now all I can do is be a lazy potato couch and flirt with the village girls. How tragic." He continued. You couldn't help but laugh at his acting. He was really the opposite of Woojin.

"Please get off the princess. She's not one of your victims." Woojin said pushing him away. "I'm not stupid, she's for you obviously," Lucas said with a bored expression. Then his eyes lit up brightly, Woojin had a worried look on his face. He must have thought something ridiculous.

"Let's have a mock battle! To impress your girl! If you are into that." He suggested. The prince raised his eyebrows feeling unsure. "You aren't supposed to be doing anything related to fighting. Plus, I'm wearing my fancy suit." He said crossing his arms.

"Fuck my doctor, this body is my body. I can do whatever I want. And you should be ready on any occasion even when you are getting married." He replied back. "Come on, just one fight."

Woojin was about to refuse but got interrupted with someone tugging his suit. He turned to see your face lighting up with excitement.

"You should! I would love to see your skills as the head guard!" You said with a big smile. He blushed at your action. Giving a heavy sigh, he nodded in agreement.

"Remember, I'm not going easy on you," Lucas said swinging his wooden sword around effortlessly and swiftly. You sat at a nearby bench with your servants admired at Lucas' skills.

He must be seriously skilled if he is both the head guard and Prince Woojin's old mentor since he's so young.

" Yeah, I know. Neither will I." Woojin replied readying his stance. He ran towards Lucas making the first strike. Lucas stumbled back a bit but immediately got right back up. Without hesitation, he swings his sword aiming at Woojin's chest who successfully avoided.

You watched as the two clash their swords against each other repeatedly in a variety of ways. You were amazed by the speed and flexibility. "Such amazing swordsmanship!" Natalie complimented with both girls agreeing to her.

Lucas made another strike to the shoulder, Woojin barely managed to block it and it slips passed hitting him. You along with your servants gasped loudly at this. Lucas not wasting any time used the flat side of the sword to push Woojin to the ground.

He sighed heavily as he got up and offered his hand towards the fallen prince who reluctantly grabbed it. "You still have a lot to learn. Imagine if I wasn't injured..." He said helping Woojin up. You felt sad as she saw the genuine disappointment in Lucas's face.

"Let's go princess. I shall give you a tour of the palace once I change." Woojin said brushing off as much dirt as he can. It was a brief second but you noticed the sadness in his eyes before it went back to normal. You felt like saying something but knew it wasn't the best time so you kept quiet and follow him with your servants behind you.

Lucas looked at them leaving and scratch the back of his head.

"I feel bad for dumping this responsibility on him so early..."
