I pulled up to my parents house and knocked on the door. My brother answered with Issy in his grasp. When she saw me she wriggled out of his arms and into my open arms.

"Are mum and dad home?" I asked.

"Yeah they're just in the kitchen they don't know you're coming." He said and I nodded. Before I walked into the kitchen I put Issy down and kneeled down to talk to her.

"Is, I'm going to have a very serious talk with grandpa and grandma now so I need you to go up to my room and watch some Netflix with daddy until I come get you ok?"

"Ok," she said quietly and ran upstairs to my room which was kind of her room now.

"Hope it goes well," Ethan smiled before following Issy upstairs.

I took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen. They looked a little taken aback to see me but kept a straight face.

"Mum, dad," I greeted but they didn't say anything, I sighed, "I'm sure you know that I bought a house,"

"Yes we are aware," my mum said, her voice strained.

"Well I just wanted to say goodbye I guess because you guys are still my parents and I wanted to give you one more chance before, well, you know,"

"Before what?" My dad asked.

"Before I choose not to see you again. If you guys still don't want me then I'll go and I won't come back for you, just Issy and Ethan, but if you said something now then I can work something out,"

"Your father and I have no intention on seeing you again,"

"So that's it, just because I like girls and I've chosen to live my life with someone of the same gender you're going to throw me away. After everything we've done for each other you're going to screw me over like this?"

They stayed silent.

"I was hoping you would say that you didn't mind, that my partner preferences don't take away the love you have for me or the love I have for you. I'm ready to walk away and turn my back on you for real so I'm asking you right here right now if that's what you want. I'm still your daughter, no matter how many choices I make that you don't like it or how many times I leave you, you're still my parents and you always will be. I'm just asking one more time if you want to deny that you love me or accept it and me, I'm not going to change for you, I'm just asking if you're willing to change for me,"

They still didn't say anything. I stomped out the room, fuming.

I walked up the stairs, each step I released some anger. I couldn't give my problems to Issy.

I opened the door to my room and Issy ran up to me. Ethan sat up and I gave him a small smile and gently shook my head. He looked down as I picked Issy up onto my hip.

"Who wants to go for some McDonalds?" I asked

"Meeeeee!" Issy exclaimed and I chuckled.

We got in the car and drove to McDonalds. When we had finished eating I asked if they wanted to come furniture shopping with us and see the house and they accepted so I drove them up to the house.

When I walked in the door, Ethan and Issy following me, Z was waiting on the kitchen counter and came over when she heard the door open.

I didn't tell her at first because of Issy but when we were showing them around the house I whispered in her ear,

"No luck,"

She gave me a sad smiled and squeezed my hand. I rested my head on her shoulder and we stayed there for a few minutes before Issy got bored and wanted to go to the next room.

After they had seen the whole house, we all got ready to go shopping and walked to the store. We had to walk because we couldn't all fit in the cars but it was only a 6 minute walk so we didn't mind.

We were shopping for a good few hours before having all the stuff we needed and getting it to be delivered in two days.

We walked back home and I drove Ethan and Issy back and on the way back home I stopped off at the supermarket to grab food for dinner and ingredients for pancakes for the morning.
