Love.
A word so simple yet so complex. For Bruce, it meant family. Family that he lost and the family he created. But love can be harsh, especially if you can't express it.

Bruce huffed in defeat as he turned off the audio interview. So it was confirmed, she hated Batman and thought Bruce was with Oliver. Why could things not be easy? Every time he tries to make a good impression, something always goes wrong! All in all, he had to admit, she had a good heart. Looking at the good in a city filled with evil, he was impressed. Just maybe she could see the light in the Dark Knight. Though she was too naïve to call out Joker like that. It was a good thing he had just captured the clown.
Somewhere in Arkham:
Joker listened intently to the guard's radio as the host called his name. When he heard her call him a no good clown, he was beyond angry. He would show her what a good joke is! What a clown should be! He wasn't planning on going out so soon but now he had to! It was clearly a challenge. A challenge the joker would accept!
