Luke.
"I thought you left me." She cried to me.
I grabbed her hands, pulling her to her feet, where I instantly hugged her.
"Never Alexis, I will never leave you" I told her firmly.
"Where did you go?" She asked me as I quickly wiped her tears.
"I had to take a work call, one of my patients was coding, they needed information on her, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you." I told her calmly, trying to make her relax.
"Can we go?" She asked me, her eyes almost begging me.
"Yes angel, lets go"
I walked her to the car, opening the door for her and then joining her.
I drove her home, feeling her lean on my arm as I drove.
"Sleepy?" I asked her, getting a firm nod.
In the hospital, she got daily naps and she also didn't walk as much as she did today, I knew she had to have been tired.
"We're gonna go home, eat lunch and then I'll let you nap." I told her calmly.
I got her home, us bringing all of the bags inside where I instantly started cooking for her.
I made her chicken as she went through her bags, neatly folding a few things.
I ended up sitting on the floor with her, eating with her as we looked over her things again.
I grabbed the phone I bought her and started setting it up, seeing that she wasn't interested in it at all.
"Look, I got your phone set up" I told her, entering Ashton, Calum and Michael's phone number after I did my own.
"Thank you" she spoke quietly, not taking it from me.
"Want it?" I laughed, trying to hand it to her.
"I don't know what to do with it" she spoke quietly.
I couldn't help but smile
"I'll show you."
I showed her the basics of how to work it.
I downloaded her social media's, knowing I needed to help her set up her accounts and soon had her scrolling through it, reading something
"What are you reading?" I asked her.
"They have science articles from actually scientists" she spoke, seeming fully interested.
"Yeah" I smiled to her
"No- but it's like current, everything I read in hell house was like ten years old" she spoke quietly.
"Did you do school in hell house?" I asked her.
"Yeah" she spoke instantly.
"When?" I asked her.
"Everyday, all day" she mumbled.
"Online or what?" I asked her.
"They had someone come in- he was mean" she mumbled.
"How?" I asked her.
"Like- we did math a lot, if we messed up he would yell at us and sometimes hit us if he thought it was bad enough." She told me calmly.
"Do you want to talk about it more?" I asked her.
"I'm sleepy." She spoke quietly, which was her nice way of saying, 'no, I don't'
"Okay, come on- I'll tuck you in."
